This is a great family style resuarant. The prices are higher than you'd expect for the casual atmosphere. Must eat the crab which is there thing.

I visit this seafood restaurant yesterday with my family and the whole experience was excellent beginning with our waiter , LOURDES that treated my family very friendly and the service was superb , we had the small sampler to started including sorullitos ,chicken fingers ,bolitas de queso and alitas de pollo and we ordered as main dishes the FILET OF REDSNAPPER , CAMARONES EMPANADOS .THE FILET OF MAHI MAHI with famous MOJO ISLENO and SALMOREJO DE JUEYES wiyh white rice and tostones , really too much ,more than 16 for 2 people in addition the side order of ARROZ MANPOSTEADO was abundant , for all people although the cost was 8 dollars , this place served too much portions and you will enjoy the ambience in the PLAYA of SALINAS area , give a trial to this southern seafood restaurant you will enjoy eating there .

nobody does it better than Ladi's when it comes to any seafood place. From a good lobster to a deep fry fish and so much more. We always try to stop when in the area Highly recommended.

We were here in the weekend, the place is nice, but dated, a point for this place is that its ocean view located so the view and the ambience is great(the reason I don't rate it Terrible).

When the place get dark because of the sunset it remains in almost complete darkness and its difficult to see what you are eating. Additional that afternoon was a guy singing and it was horrible, you are here to relax in front of the ocean and not listening a guy with an electric guitar.

The food was bad, not horrible, but it was bad, the place was not full packed however they take too many time to bring us the order, we were 4, and no order was bring to the table correctly, I ordered a fish with mojo, and they forget to bring the mojo, another friend ordered a sea salad with mofongo, and they forget the mofongo... the waitress was nice, but clueless.

My fish was well cooked, but it had no flavor, and that's really bad for a 30$ dish...so this is not a cheap place, it's expensive, also their products are frozen, not fresh, the "rodaballo" ordered by another friend was frozen and it was pure garbage, it was ordered with mojo, and not mojo there...

So, avoid this place.

Just this past weekend I took my wife to the coastal town of Salinas in southern Puerto Rico where the "mojo isleño" was created. "Mojo" is a tomato-based sauce with garlic, pepper, olive oil and onions that accompanies many seafood dishes in Puerto Rico. It's a local commododity of sorts. My wife loves deep-fried whole red snapper, so I decided to take her somewhere for her birthday where she could have it and enjoy an exquisite setting at the same time. Sitting on the pebble-ridden shore os the Playa sector of Salinas, Ladi's Place is a mainstay of the seafood scene in southern Puerto Rico.

Ladi's serves up a wide array of seafood plates in a variety of styles. You can sit all along a balcony that stretches the entire width of the restaurant. They have a full bar and plenty of oscillating fans for hot days like yesterday. They also have a live crab pit where they raise and feed local crabs which eventyally make it to plates like "mofongo" stuffed with crab meat (that's what I had).

The food and the view will make up for the summer heat. I can't wait to return during the milder winter months.
