I have given a review of this hotel and restaurant before. It had my highest acclaims then and on our latest visit last night I can only re-iterate our very great satisfaction. Just ask yourself when can you give complete satisfaction to a hotel/restaurant? We were welcomed about 6.30 pm shown to a room we had had before; absolutely perfect. Nothing needed for absolute comfort and ease.
The food wow is another dimension. Best described as English/nouvelle cuisine. An extensive menu. Four course: a choice of starter, then soup of the day, main course extensive depending on season, the "pudding" all home prepared even ice cream.
A special offer to us for dinner ,deluxe room and a full english breakfast was £178.00
Sounds a lot but for a very special occasion you will get perfection
