The food was amazing. We were shown straight to the table by friendly staff. All three courses were brilliant and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Well priced food and will defiantly be coming again.

We called in for lunch and were surprised to see only one other couple in and we stood waiting for a while and no one appeared so we sat down. We ordered burgers and chips, one was from the specials menu. They were quite nice, although i couldn't really taste the blue cheese, and good value.

After reading reviews was expecting this to be great, sadly either we caught them on a bad night or my expectations were too high.

The restaurant is small serving about 16 covers.

Bad start as we had to wait a short while to be acknowledged, things got better when we saw the menu, although only a small menu what was on it sounded good. Couple of bottles of wine ordered and whilst competitively priced the wine was good.

The owner took our orders and after a comfortable wait our starters arrived, gorgeous.

Mains arrived, again in good time - now, I'm not bothered if there is no salt and pepper on the table, a lot of chefs are offended that you feel the need to season what they already have done, I can live with that and if the food has been seasoned during cooking then fine. Pasta is a food in my opinion that needs salt whilst cooking and the meal that arrived had not been seasoned. We asked for salt and were duly given it, but the food still tasted a little bland. It wasn't horrible but just lacked some flavour, the pasta was well cooked as were the scallops, chorizo and prawns.

I never bothered with dessert, but friends did and that could have been better.

Service was good, after a slow start, starter lovely, main was disappointing, value for money was ok.

Went last night for a meal with friends, was really looking forward to it as expected a lot from reading other reviews. The restaurant is tiny but sweet and clean, when we arrived we were left waiting for what felt like ages before being seated. This was due to the owner sorting out a man who had not booked. Would not have been as much of a problem but we didn't even get acknowledged just left standing there while other diners looked as us. Wine was nice and reasonable prices. The starter I had was lovely -mushroom in cream sauce and garlic bread. Friends starter was ok but it had weird cauliflower ice cream stuff on it that was not good. Main course was pasta with scallops, prawns and chorizo in lobster sauce, it was tasteless and had no seasoning, i left most of the pasta, 3 of us had this and none of us were impressed. Had apple crumble ice cream to finish and it was ok a bit grainy. Overall ok but there are better places in town.
