Visited as a result of the Daily telegraph and tripadvisor. It was very pleasing that the opinions and reviews were all accurate! We went as a family of grandparents, parents and grandaughter at lunchtime Saturday 23 Feb. The welcome was first class and pens, crayons and drawing pad were offered immediately for the young one, 14 months. We were seated very comfortably with everyhing at hand and soon ordered our drinks and meal. Beer choices were good and so was the food. We were only having a quick lunch and so ham, cheese, cajun chicken, chicken goujons and hot beef rolls were the order of the day. They were all excellent and arrived very quickly with fantastic home made chips. All our plates were emptied and no complaints! We look forward to going again for an evening meal.
