We stayed at this hotel on a wet weekend in July.
On we found the hotel had been tastefully refurbished and were impressed by the decor.
We were staying half board and found both the breakfast and dinner to be good quality.
The double room no 10 was very cramped but of good quality and clean but would have been too small to stay in for more than a weekend.
The staff were poor....very dis interested, not at all cheerful and just about helpful.
The owner Andrew seemed to be doing everything, which is a very difficult task to do well.
The upstairs stairwells and landings were cluttered with laundry and cleaning equipment which did not move all weekend, good housekeeping should have sorted this out.
Our major concern was that his family young toddler and dog seemed to be living in the bar and restuarant area, very off putting.

Food is fantastic and the rooms are very nice. Recommend going for a meal! Although if the surrounding areas of hotel was complete our stay would of been alot better.

Stayed at the Queen for two nights. Pleasant refurbished bedroom, relaxing, elegant public areas and good meals. Staff helpful and courteous. Made a good base for exploring, Haworth, Hebden Bridge etc. Excellent value.

Meals very basic, my Cannelloni was full of unexpected veg'. Dining room window w/sill covered in dead flies and dust. Continental breakfast was toast and tea. Our milk jug and hot water jug had drips of coffee on. With Groupon voucher this deal was worth £135..JOKE!! Decor' tired and peeling wall paper. The hall is full of housekeeping equipment..Sign is missing letters outside.
Faulty Towers more like. Never recommend or revisit.

This wonderful 10 bed roomed hotel is situated immediately opposite Todmorden Railway station and about a 5 minute walk from the town centre.

My wife and I arrived by car and managed to park at the front of the Hotel. The Hotel does not have it’s own car park , but there are 50 or so free car parking spaces provided for rail commuters, directly adjacent to the hotel, which guests can use.

We stayed in room 1 which was nicely decorated and carpeted and was bright, airy and very spacious . The modern décor , recessed lighting and 32” LCD TV was quite a surprise and the en-suite bathroom with bath, Shower and full facilities, was fitted out to a good standard.

The bar area was clean ,comfortable and well appointed with a good selection of beers .

We ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening and opted for the mixed grill. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was exceptional and the mixed grill had to be seen to be believed.. Definitely one of the best mixed grills we’ve ever had!!

The full English breakfast the next morning was again delicious and provided a nice ending to our stay.

We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel
