Following a poor evening at a local pizza restaurant we went to eat in Fayence with trepidation. We needn't have worried. Le Temps was superb. Service, food and location was all we would wish for. Our family ranges from 7,13,14and adult and all had a great time. Food and service excellent . Made our holiday and we will be sure to visit again in July when we return. Be sure to visit.

Fayence is blessed with more than it's fair share of good places to eat and Temps de Cerise is one of the best. The cooking has a more International flavour - given that the chef is Dutch - with touches of Thailand, Japan and Belgium as well as Mediterranean. The cooking is sure and precise. The menu du mois at E29 is good value, the main menu at E41 is still reasonable. The ambience is friendly, the service good and the terrace overlooking the main street provides a constant panorama of village life. Well worth a visit.

We hadn't reserved but managed to get a table outside on a weekday evening. There is a set menu of Euros 29.50 but we ate a la carte. There is a good selection of local wines.

Really enjoyed the foie gras followed by lobster risotto. Both were delicious. The lobster risotto had plenty of lobster (excellent!) but since the overall risotto portion was not that large, it wasn't quite enough to fill us up.

The chef came and visited us at our table. Service was friendly.

This restaurant is open during the winterseason. Nice, clean and very friendly. The meal was a pleasure for the eyes and tasted really good.

We have had the good fortune (and this place is not inexpensive) to enjoy several wonderful meals here with good friends. One of these long French meals went on past closing as the owner and chef sat at the table with us and brought out complimentary champagne and more food so we could continue talking together once the restaurant was empty. No guarantee that this will happen to you but worth a try.
