We went on a Wednesday night so not exactly a busy day of the week and were for the majority of the evening the only 2 diners there. Julian himself sat smoking in an armchair by the bar and didn't even bother to say hello or welcome - despite us being the only people there. The food was good but not exceptionally good and again, the service was bad. A bit uncalled for. There's a lovely cat who added a bit of atmosphere to the evening! Maybe on a busier evening there would be more buzz. There's a very good shop that sells all his arts and crafts which is worth a visit.
