“Had forgotten how wonderful this place is.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Popped in for a post walk beer and crisps. Then I remembered the fantastic puddings on offer at this characterful eatery. So change of plan; cheesy chips and cider followed by sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream and coffee. Amazing- just hit the spot after our long walk in the Mickleton countryside. The staff are delightful-really friendly and great to have the opportunity to chat to local eccentrics and their dogs too! (We sat in the bar- no dogs in the restaurant). We have eaten here a number of times and all amazing- food is exceptional. The thing I really like about this place though are the antiques- so beautiful and the wonderful thing is that most of them are for sale- gorgeous mirrors, lamps and jewellery (made by the owner's wife- real silver, very tasteful). We must visit again for a proper meal!

Great meal within a short walk from the cottage we were staying in. Has a lovely meal and a great time!!! Called again following nights and watched last night of the proms with the locals... great atmosphere and made a special weekend all the better.

“People Make The Difference!!”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We were in Mickleton England on a walking tour and stayed at Three Ways House Hotel. Our dinner was included on the night we arrived. The next day after our walk we discovered a little Pub called Kings Arms.We went in for a pint and chatted with Tom ( a young man who worked there) What a nice young man! We cancelled our dinner reservations at the hotel and went to dine at the Pub. Best idea ever!! The food was excellent, the service fabulous, and the atmosphere was even better than our hotel! Thank you Tom for taking the time and chatting to two old seniors who enjoyed every minute of the conversation. If we ever decide to open a pub here in Montreal Canada maybe you would consider moving to a colder country!!

“Friendly village Inn”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

We've dined here twice, a lunchtime and an evening. A genuine smile and welcome as you enter from all the staff. good food and how often do you get the chef come out from the kitchen to check that you are enjoying your meal ? Nice touch. Also some antiques to peruse, for sale.

We have visited here twice, a lunchtime and an evening. A genuine friendly welcome each time from great staff. Lovely food and the chef came from the kitchen to check that our meal was OK. Antiques to look at and purchase. An old village inn with character.

Reviewed August 29, 2013

Called in for lunch on the way through to Stratford and it was delicious. Will definatley be calling again. Lovely country pub, lots of parking, amazing food and great character. We both ate the fish and it was cooked to perfection. Will be recommending to our friends and family.
