“Walking and Pudding Club”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Arrived on Bank Holiday Monday for an initial two night stay. Our bedroom at the top of the hotel with a view of the garden was immaculate and looked newly decorated. In the restaurant, I would recommend the rib eye steak, which was gorgeous and at breakfast the home made granola was lovely. After two nights staying elsewhere we returned on Friday and stayed over for the pudding club, which was a real (stomach filling) experience. We were made very welcome throughout our stay and enjoyed some long walks in the surrounding countryside.

Room Tip: In some rooms you may be affected by a little noise from the road.

Were looking for a cotswold hotel last minute for the bank holiday and as you can imagine not a lot of choice left so booked this hotel quickly. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, what a find ! A pretty and quaint hotel in the middle of a lovely cotswold village and central to many other cotswlod villages and towns. We didnt realise this was the home to the famous Pudding Club until we had arrived we were'nt here fot the pudding night as we had arranged to be in nearby Chipping Campden, but it does look great fun ! We ate in Randall's one evening and also in the main restaurant for breakfast and found the food to be very good. Also really liked the Kings Arms just down the road but did not like the nearby Butcher's Arms. The Three Ways hotel has wonderful friendly staff, nice restaurants and bars and lounge areas all tastefully decorated and has a lovely garden in which to relax. My only criticism is that the bedroom was a little small though that didnt really bother us as we were hardly there but we would have liked a duvet and more comfortable pillows. Bedroom a little dated but spotlessly clean and the bathroom appeared to be new and also spotless. But nonetheless a lovely country hotel in the centre of the north east cotswolds.

Had a fantastic night here this weekend, attended with 19 of my nearest and dearest for my Hen Night. Food was fabulous and the puddings were amazing... fabulous communication and great value for money at only £36 per head for a 3 course meal with a selection of 4 puddings!

Great accomodation of allergies and my friend was particularly overwhelmed with her additional puddings to accomodate her gluten free diet.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere and a delightlful follow up email this morning advising we made the waiters blush :)

We have been going to this hotel for Christmas for over ten years and arranged a two say break this time for just the two of us. Dinner on Friday night, my wife had the steak and kidney pudding which was superb. I chose the blue cheese sauce on my steak - good choice! I managed to squeeze a Lord Randalls pudding which was outstanding! Breakfasts of kipper, porridge and smoked haddock between us plus standard full English was great. Evening Meal in the restaurant I finished with a trio if puds which was exquisite! Room was beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive Z we gave become accustomed to experiencing. Overall a delightful two days - see you at Christmas!

My wife and I stayed here as we were dining at the Pudding Club, based in the hotel. The hotel has a good number of rooms, spread over a number of floors, which adds to its charm. The room we were in wasn't particularly big but suited our needs.
It was clean and comfortable with a very refreshing double shower in the en suite. There was a good range of teas and coffees and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was a buffet of locally supplied products, both hot and cold and was everything you expect from a countryside hotel.
All in all, a great stay.

We stayed here the other night with our Cocker Archie and was a very good experience - room, bar, and meal. We had to pay a bit for him but he got a blanket, food, and bowl. Also patio doors which was a nice touch. The bar was most up-market and food excellent, also Archie so well behaved that he was not "with us". Great experience overall.

Room Tip: If you have a dog you get a ground floor patio which is excellent.
