Fantastic cottage, which was very clean and well appointed. As we were staying in February we were worried about being warm enough in a 300 year old Cottage but it was lovely and warm, in fact we ended up turning the under floor heating down. There were plenty of cutlery, plates, bowels etc. for five of us. The location is great, right in the centre of the village but just off the main street so no traffic noise. The local pub, The Kings Arms does lovely food and it is only a 100 yards away. There are two or three foot paths just outside the front door which was great for walking the dog. We had a very enjoyable week and happy to recommend this property.

“Beautiful cottage, full of character, spotlessly clean”
Reviewed September 14, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

A group of six former school friends, we stayed here for our annual weekend meet-up. April Cottage is a beautiful property, full of character. The downstairs is comfortable and spacious, with a lovely wood burner in the inglenook fireplace. There is a perfect bedroom/bathroom ratio and all the fittings are of a very high standard. The only slight criticism is that the mattresses in the twin room aren't very comfortable. Otherwise perfect. One of the nicest cottages we've stayed in in the 20 years we've been doing these reunion weekends.

“Beautiful home”
Reviewed September 11, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Loved our two night stay at April Cottage breaking up a long drive north from Cornwall. It's a beautiful home - warm, comfortable and very tasteful. The village is pretty and there is a super gastro pub literally 2 minutes way away called The Kngs Arms. We ate there both evenings - a great recommendation !! House is dog friends and weary traveller friendly too.

Stayed at April cottage for a long weekend. The cottage is immaculate, very well restored, unique. Garden is lovely and well kept. Lovely village, fabulous butcher in the village. Ate at the kings arms and three ways hotel. The cottage is spacious, with everything you need, a home from home. Would 100% recommend. Ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds.

“Unbelievably Quaint & a Wonderful Gem!”
Reviewed June 2, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The four of us arrived mid-day in early May to find this wonderful cottage ready for us. The furthest we traveled was to Cardiff and it was an easy day! Spent other days enjoyed the villages or just hanging out playing cards. Spent a wonderful week here and would highly recommend this cottage.
We lucked out with the sunny weather.

Liked best: Close to Chippencampden & other Cotswold villages. Walk to town, has all that's needed.
Liked least: The beds were not very comfortable...

We arrived here with anticipation after having picked up international friends from Birmingham Airport. We were not disappointed. The cottage is gorgeous - a chocolate box cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds. The cottage is dog friendly and our dog has certainly liked the underfloor heating (only problem is trying to get her off of it!). The local facilities have been great and there are plenty of open fields for great walks. Try the local pub, the King's Arms for lunch and the odd pint or two ;-).
