The hotel is in a small, probably medieval house. It has six rooms, all very tastfully decorated with romantic themes. You'll find great touches throughout the B&B, with antique furniture, real stone floors, rooms named after flowers, but also all the comforts of modern life, such as a great shower and comfy beds (even by American standards). There is a nice sitting room on the main floor and a nice breakfast room on the lower level, with a walk-out into a small courtyard with an old well. The hotel is close to everything, in the heart of the old town. There are so many pubs to explore! The Trattoria was one of our favourite, with a very nice tasting wine at 6 Euro per bottle. They also make their own pasta - delicious. There really is only one man street, but you would miss a lot if you didn't explore the tiny parallel streets by the walls. The breakfast was mostly self-serve, but there were a number of options, with filled croissants, to cereal, buns, plenty of home-made jams and toast with ground tomatoes. No internet, no hairdryer or iron. If you are an early morning person, you won't mind the main street rooms, because the trucks come by quite early, but if you like your morning quiet, get the room facing away from the main street. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! More pictures of the town: http://community.webshots.com/album/580882159zjVCvp?vhost=community
