I was fortunate to stay with Veronique and Alain as part of a workshop in watercolor painting, of which this place is probably unique in the world for catering exclusively to that medium, bringing in some of the world's foremost practitioners as instructors. It is to their credit that these artists, who can chose to offer their workshops anywhere, flock to the beauty of the surrounding countryside, and the warm hospitality of the hosts, and the comfort and elegance of the old farm they have so tastefully restored. Six comfortable bedrooms are offered in the main house as well as in a self-contained dependency with its own sitting room and kitchen, which is ideal for a family or group of friends. Independent travelers are welcome during periods when workshops are not being offered. In addition to the charm and comfort of the accommodations, Veronique is a marvelous cook, and guests would do well to take advantage of the "demi-pension" option!
