My partner and I went to Terre di Vini after people we met in a restaurant in Siena recommended it. It was simply sublime. My mum is a chef and I have been to many a Michelin star restaurant in Italy but this was simply perfect in the way the food was balanced and flavoured. The menu had an amazing scope from very basic and rustic dishes - very cheap - to the more gastronomical - still very good value for money. The wine (passopisciaro, 2006 I believe) was recommended by the sommelier Villiam and was quite simply perfect. We both left happy, completely satisfied, and determined to fly back to Italy next year, if only so we could have another culinary experience like this.
