Such an amazing experience...we did the tazman glacier flight and then landed above the glacier and then flew over Mt Cook glacier and between a pass in the mountains.
It was a once in a lifetime experience.the check in was seamless with no que and as soon as we were ready to go we were taken out but didn't feel rushed.
The pilot was Mike and he was so nice and happy to answer all of our questions.
At no point along the flight , even at the landing on the mountain did we feel rushed.
I am ver pleased we picked southern lakes

Had a lovely Heli ride! Paul our pilot was lovely and chatted to us about the various mountains etc. We landed at Doubtful and had a stop for a while, it was idyllic. We then hopped back in the Heli, we each had a turn in the front. We headed to Mt Kidd and got out to look at the lake and had some more photos. On the journey back we headed over my luxmor and the Kepler track which was awesome! Headed back to Te Anau. Was an amazing trip! Great sites, great ride and experience!

Starting with the office staff, they were great, very informative and pleasant with a sense of humour. Ben the pilot was excellent and his commentary was good banter for the entire flight. The views of Dusky and Doubtful Sounds were spectacular and our 2 stops were breathtaking. The 2 hours was just about the right amount of time. We took amazing photos and hope we can enjoy another flight with Southern Lakes again. A must for everyone. Thank you from Julie and Peter.

Amazing experience, pilots were so welcoming and knowledgeable on the flight. They found out we had a birthday and gave us something special, unreal views and an unforgettable experience. Would highly highly recommend

Hello all,
One of the best experience we had in New Zealand.
Mike was our pilot and he was wonderful. He explained, showed and guided, was patient and even took pictures of us all.
We are a family with three daughters (12,10,8), they were excited and happy in an unusual way. After two weeks in New Zealand, they really remember the experience of landing on the deep snow as one of the highlights of the trip.
A highly recommended experience, worth every dollar.
