“Lovely Walk & Park but limited seating for picnics!”

We visited here today and enjoyed a lovely long walk. There are 4 different walks to choose from ranging from half a mile to 2.5. We chose the longest one as it was a lovely dry day... When we arrived at the cafe there was no seating and we ended up being sat on wet and muddy grass... with a 16 month old... it wasn't ideal!! Thats the only negative thing we could say about the place...

Great walk up from Bingley (Myrtle park) to Druids Altar. Very scenic. Bit muddy, as everywhere is at the moment!

St Ives Estate is a wonderful place for walking dogs and children! There is a lovely large playground for children, complete with picnic tables.
Head for Coppice Pond on the estate and there is a walk right around the pond suitable for children) and a woodland walk which can be a little muddy in places after wet weather, when wellies are recommended. There is also a tea room that is well worth a visit.

We just love it here. It's owned by Bradford Council (so no profiteering)and the cafe is lovely and to walk there today in the winter sunshine was just fabulous. Glad I'm lucky enough to live close by. Who needs Leeds...
