Description: The Brown Cow has been serving as a hostelry in Bingley for over 100 years. This family run pub, provides traditional & innovative home cooked food, individually selected wines and award winning cask conditioned ales from local breweries. All of this comes overlooking the riverside with a stunning view of the Bingley Parish Church, where the bells can often be heard. To the other side, lies the famous St Ives estate, where we find a walkers paradise along with a championship golf course, archery & fishing as well as much more. When the weekend arrives so do the local live bands, who can often be seen on Saturday nights along side a variety of fine food and cask ale based theme nights. With our traditional Yorkshire Hospitality & local products, The Brown Cow is the perfect place to Relax, Enjoy & Return.

“Nice location, good food, cosy pub”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Ideally located for those exploring Bingley, or walking to St Ives or Myrtle Park, the Brown Cow offers a friendly atmosphere, comfortable seating areas and excellent food.
Good choice of meals, not the cheapest in the area but not the most expensive either. Went on one visit as a couple, and the other was a buffet following a funeral. The buffet was disappointing and took a long time to be served, and the room was cold, but for other meals I would recommend it.

“Excellent service, generous portions, amazing burgers!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

This is the first time ive visited the brown cow for food and certainly won't be the last. We went for a birthday celebration after it was reccomended by a friend of ours and we all had a wonderful time. All of the staff were very polite and helpful and the food was lovely with very generous portions. It is a very traditional pub with a very warm welcoming to it with a large selection of drinks on offer, much more than a regular pub offers. I would definatley reccomend visiting!

“Walked Out”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Stunk of burnt fat and so walked out...terrible smell that was filling the entire pub. No atmosphere and has gone downhill.

“Excellent Food Especially The Burgers - But Not Keen On So Many Dogs .”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

This place has had a very chequered history in the past some of it good , some of it not so good , we popped in on a very cold snowy day and it was busy which is always nice to see.
The food was great , the portions were very generous .The servers and staff were lovely.
I would have given it 5 stars but for the many dogs that were allowed in , there were at least 4 and one of them was barking the whole time , I really don't like to eat with so many dogs around , it makes me nervous and I find it unhygienic, but I expect it will become a place for every dog owner in Bingley !
