Quite a walk, but worth it! Would definitely like to come back soon.

The walk down to the bridge is beautiful though tiring especially on the way up. Seeing the intricate bridges is also an unique experience. Be sure to carry food and water along with you as there is nothing except Maggi available and that too right at the bridge.

We had a two hour descent from one hill to get to it and approximately 4 - 5 hr ascent up another where pickup cars awaited us. The root bridge concept and this one because of its double Decker two level nature is spectacular. When we were ascending from nongriat village where the bridge is located, hundred meters away from the trail we found a blue water pool about 2 degrees centigrade which you can take a refreshing dip in in the right conditions : superb. Uphill trek tests endurance : its stone steps at what seemed like sixty degree gradient for 4 to 5 hours relentlessly.
The ramen noodles at the end of it never tasted better
