It was June end so definitely rainy season and the cave is made of limestone, so its very slippery, so be careful, the water logged in the cave can also have insects like cockroaches etc. so if you are brave enough to venture into it, all the best. But nevertheless those who are not brave enough can safely go till the opening of the cave and experience stepping on limestone and also click some interesting photos for memories.

We just came back from this cave and the experience was terrible. There is no guide and very less lights are available. As the oxygen tension is low inside the cave so invalids and elderly can be easily excluded from this trip. This part of North East India is highly prone to earthquakes so travelling through this path is highly adventurous and very risky. Moreover the staff does not provide you with any helmets to save your head from striking against the walls and most of the people go barefooted as there is lot of water on the floor.

this cave is situated at a distance about 8 kms from the chirapunjee.Although there is arrangement of light in it yet going in it a challenge. it is wide in in the begining and becomes narrow to the end side.Elder persons and those persons who have health problem Should avoid to go in it.however it would be an adventure for the young persons with good health.

If your not too old or not too young this is a must visit place in Cherranpunge...lovely rock formations, creepy openings and bridges....A nice adventure for everyone.Bending ,crawling holding, helping,we found our way out..We even managed to take little kids and older people through this with a little difficulty but otherwise the adventure was worth it
