If your not too old or not too young this is a must visit place in Cherranpunge...lovely rock formations, creepy openings and bridges....A nice adventure for everyone.Bending ,crawling holding, helping,we found our way out..We even managed to take little kids and older people through this with a little difficulty but otherwise the adventure was worth it

It was a good experience. The cave was interesting. Well maintained. But the parking staff is very rude and charge you high without any receipt. Be careful.

The eeriness and mystery inside the caves gradually unfolded a charismatic beauty in front of us with the visible formations of stalactites and stalagmites (found inside limestone caves). While at some places, the openings were big enough for a person to just about crawl through, at others, the roofs was as high as 40 feet! Indeed a one-time, super-duper adventure!

Mawsmai is a village around 6-7 km from Sohra market in Cherrapunji, there lies a cave partly lighted to make it easier for the tourists to make in to the cave. Mawsmai cave is limestone cave in Cherrapunji and one of the many and one of the best caves which is accessible to tourists. Moving inside the cave is really thrilling and exciting. A road through the forest leads to this cave. The way to the cave is just fantastic. The scenic view all around is good too.

It is a must visit place for all travelers.
