wonderful location, the hotel is surrounded by olive trees with a gorgeous sea view,
simple but clean and large room with terrace (sea and pool view)
small beach at walking distance
kind and welcoming staff
There is not really a breakfast service but the second day we bought food (Greek pastries !!) and used our kitchenette in the room.

We had a fantastic week here, 2 adults, 2 teenagers. The apartment was wonderful, spacious, with a lovely view. The closest beach was a gem, in the morning and late afternoon we often had it to ourselves. The hotel pool is also very nice, and having a drink at the pool bar in the evening was a great way to end the day. The region has a lot more to offer than beaches; Koroni town and its castle, also Methoni a little further away. And a short walk from the hotel is a very nice restaurant (run by the hotel manager's brother so you get a discount) with excellent Greek food. The next time we want a week of pure relaxation we will be back.

We stayed there for three nights in what essentially is their superior family room. This consisted of a large bedroom with a double bed and another room which had two single beds for our kids, TV, dining table with bench and two chairs and a kitchenette and, fridge (a respectable size). There was a/c in both rooms which worked perfectly fine when all windows were closed. Outside there was a lovely clean pool with ample sunbeds around the pool. You had to comply with the pool rules which essentially meant that you were not allowed in the pool until 10.00am. At 2.30pm you were not allowed to use it until 4.30/5.00pm. Pool use was prohibited after 9.00pm. Service is excellent with all staff more than happy to help. Vasillis was a very understanding individual and always happy to help.
The apartments/studios are on two floors and we were on the first floor with great views. You could see the lovely sea and the town of Koroni in the distance. If you have kids, you need to have a car to drive to the beaches (which are very nice) and to find a place to eat out. I would have preferred a bit more space in the kitchenette area in terms of preparation space and I think the price that we paid in August per night Euro120,00 should have included breakfast, as to have to pay an extra Euro 9,00 is a little too much. The hotel also has a beachside restaurant 700 metres away, the Peroulia restaurant, and on arrival at the hotel you are given a voucher that entitles you to a 10% discount. What was a little disappointing was that I was charged to use the sunbeds and parasols at the beachside restaurant. Personally, I think that if you are staying at the hotel you should not have to pay for the use of these items. If they want to charge people with no association to the hotel, then fair enough.
It is worth noting that there is free Wifi and plenty of parking space. The hotel is spotless. A very good place to relax away from the crowds.

Room Tip: Make sure you visit Koroni. It takes about 15 minutes by car and allows you plenty of choice for a m...

Very nice location. Clean hotel and very kind personnell. All rooms have kitchenette and refrigerator. Hotel's adjacent beach (50 meters all by stairs) is not organized. At 700mt sandy beach complete with umbrellas. The pool was clean, but we did not appreciate very much that it closes down at noon. Arrival to the hotel and the beach by car very difficult, due to bad and narrow road (not at all to do with the hotel itself)

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor have excellent view of the bay

Mid June 2012 we (2 couples) stayed for one night at the Colonides Beach Hotel and honestly spoken, because we were on a tour through the Peloponnesos with a strict schedule to be followed, we regret that we could not stay any longer - It was just perfect; meaning a very clean and spacious room with everything available (good working airco, fridge, etc,...). Friendly manager who took his time to inform us appropriate. At walking distance to the sea with a very nice restaurant - 'Peroulia' (the manager of the restaurant is the brother of the hotel manager) with a huge variety of delicious food. Clean and well maintained swimming pool with comfortable deckchairs and a pool bar to avoid that you get thirsty. Overall review is outstanding and worth to come back. I nearly forgot to mention that breakfast was excellent and so was the service. A place to be, an hotel to stay !

We stayed in Colindes Hotel in July'11 and were extremely pleased with our stay. The rooms were spotless, the staff very friendly and the manager, Vasilis, was eager to help in any way he could.
The pool is clean and cool, and the breakfast was awsome (cake, crouasant, coffee, juice, eggs, ham & cheese tost, apple pie, fruits).

For those that would prefer the beach, a 3-minute drive is all that is needed to get to a organized beach. There is also a very good taverna there, which works with the hotel and gives a 10% discount on the tab for hotel customers.

Only grey point was the wireless was not as promised, but they said they had 1 of the 2 AP out for service.

I would recommend this hotel for couples and families.
