This is a very nice, educational activity and clean facility with authentic to the area animals.
The train ride is a lot of fun. A visit will not disappoint especially in an area away from large cities.

It was great to see bears, tigers, bison, ox etc., from a guided train ride through the compound.
I was rather upset though at seeing the polar bear pacing up and down in its compound - an obvious sign of distress!

It's a nice zoo, more of an animal park really, with open spaces for most of the animals. However, if you have been to other major zoos in the world, it is not particularly outstanding and was quite pricey, over $30.00 a ticket. All the animals are from the north though, so it is a chance to finally glimpse a moose as the passenger train chugs along thorough the animal zones. They have recreated some early cabins and scenes that represent pioneer life in those woods and have some skits and tour information as you go along. It's all in French though, so if you don't speak it, it's pretty meaningless. If I had to do it over again, I'd spend the money on something else.

This is a special place, very authentic. The animals are on wiew, you will not be dissapointed at all. I loved the polar bears. The one hour trip with the train is also a must do. If you are a couple, I would say that you dont need 5 hours minimum to visit this place, as they say. It is not a huge place and in a few hours you can make a tour. I recommend visit it.

Hi, we visited the zoo in the week of june 11, 2012. The animals are in a natural setting in the northern section of the province. Lots of bears buffalo and moose are roaming around the grounds in a wooded section of the town of St. Féliecien. The experience is very good and the prices are very acceptable - around $20. Facilities are very good all ages.
