Visit the place with a guide who would explain not just the fort but the other monuments in the large fort complex as well. While the sound and light show in the evening is not exceptional its worth a visit.

Don't miss the ancient and enormous Jain sculptures on the way down the hill from this imposing fortress.

Should take guide to see this fort as there are many things such as first cooler, place where aurangeb hanged his brother, which was initially jhula ghar of the queens, first intercom built in the wall. The ventilation system of this fort is amazing. But above all THERE ARE BATS, SMELL. MP Government boast about the tourism but does not invest time or money in maintaining monuments.
Same is the condition of SAS BAHU temple (loaction of this temple is marvelous) which are situated near the fort. The inner room of temple is so dark that u cannot dare to enter in it even during th day time. SMELL AND BATS are part of the temple.

On the path west, the Jain Tirthankara sculptures are impressive and worth a thorough visit. Do not forget to take an interest in those located to the right of the road, a little higher than the car park.
Man Singh Palace is a delight to the eye with its colorful mosaics and patterns used.
Construction on cliff edge and the view overlooking the city are reminiscent of the fortress of Jodhpur.
Narrow corridors and sometimes sheer steeps allow a unusual visit and impressive diving into the bowels of the palace.
The small museum located next to the palace reserve beautiful sculptures.

Great place to visit and hear the story of.. The light and sound show is also pretty nice... However, travellers should be careful when negotiating a price with the tour guides right outside the property
