I had been here for a business dinner. The palace is royal and well designed and aesthetically lit. You will see old pictures and portraits all around giving a sneak peak of the scindia family's legacy.
The resto has a simple architecture but impresses you. I would like to talk more on the food now. The menu is elaborate and spreads across indian, asian and italian. We tired across all diff menus and found the indian and asian menu to be most tasty.
The Italian is freakishly bad with risotto being the worst. They boast of elaborate prawn dishes but none of them were being served to my surprise. Lamb dishes were well marinated and tender. Juice oozes out when you bite into them. We tried both the red and green thai curries and both kept their promise.
We ended up with desserts. Rasmalai was nothing great to talk about. We ordered badam halwa which was too heavy and was flowing with overdosed ghee. Didn't impressmuch.
Overall a 3/5 eating experience but a 4/5 ambience and hospitality.
