We have just returned from another visit to The Constantinos (No.14) and once again we have had a lovely time. We always have fantastic service, always being greeted with a smile wherever we went. The Reception Management and Staff are always friendly and helpful, as are all the Dining Room and Breakfast Room staff also the Bar staff. The rooms are very comfortable, the Bathrooms have been refurbished during the winter, they are now Modern and Bright with new washbasins, toilets and shower heads, and have been completely re-tiled. The beds as usual are very comfortable, and the rooms are kept very clean. The Dining room has been extended, the Buffet area has been completely updated and the floor has been tiled - It is now a beautifully light and airy Dining Room, where you can still- if you wish- dine out on the front balcony. The Breakfast room also has new furniture. Breakfasts- There is plenty of choice from Cereals, Continental selection, Full Hot selection (Sausages,Bacon,Tomatoes,Eggs, Mushrooms, Beans etc.) Fruit and Yoghurts. OMELETTES ARE COOKED ON REQUEST!!!! also pancakes. Lunches are served in the Breakfast room and there is always a good selection from soup, salads, hot dishes, deserts and fresh fruit. Dinners are served in the main Dining room with a very good selection of dishes, always something to suit all tastes. The staff in all the restaurants are efficient, always friendly, helpful and smiling. Overall the food is very good. The Hotel is in a very good Location, right on the beach and only 100 metres from the main street with it's shops and bars. There are always plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the grassed area next to the beach, Pool towels are available at the gym, a deposit is required which is returnable. I know this Hotel has received a varied selection of reviews, but the number of returning guests every year must give some indication of it's popularity, we have been going since 2001 and have never been dissatisfied. Give it a try I know you will not be disappointed.

spent a week at tsokkos constantinos the great in May. We were there for our friends wedding. The wedding itself was in the hotel entrance with fantastic views over the sea. The entrance was all dressed for the occassion and the reception was held at the back of the hotel in an semi open space just off the beach which was perfect. Dining - The food was always hot and tasty and we always found something to our taste. One evening the main restuarant was closed due to a private function being held and we had to use the lunchtime restuarant which isnt as nice as the main one for an evening meal. It is all buffet option. Omelets is not an option at Breakfast however. You would have expected a chef cooking omelets but not so. The fried eggs and scrambled eggs are laid out on the hot plate.Sunbeds We always managed to get a sunbed by the pool but they arent the comfiest of beds. There are beds set out on the grass area too leading to the beach. You pay a deposit for the beach towels which are changed on request and the deposit refunded when you return the towels at the end of your stay. The entertainment was held downstairs and it was dire. The entertainment staff did there best but it was the usual childrens dances, quizes and karoke. There was no live entertainment on the week we were there but maybe this was due to it being the beginning of the season. It might be different as the season progresses. We tended to sit at the bar upstairs to partake in the all inclusive before heading out to the local bars for some entertainment. The hotel is in an ideal location just off the beach and close to the shops and bars etc so you get the best of both worlds. The entertainment, or rather lack of it however was disappointing. We did a boat trip aon the Ayia trias 111and would recommend this. We booked it at reception and got picked up at the top of the road.

We stayed with our 22 month old son for two weeks. We had a sea view room which was great. There was an occasion when I room wasn't attended by the maids one day and a few times it wasn't cleaned to the standard I expected.
The food was nice but not a selection as good as I have previously seen in Cyprus.
One thing I would say is do not stay here when locals are celebrating bank holidays as the hotel allowed them to use the sunbeds, pool and restaurant so it was heaving and no room for actual paying guests!

My wife and I went there late May 2012 with two friends for a relaxing week. Some of the previous reviews were not very complimentary so we were not sure what to expect, however we were very pleased with everything about the hotel and beach-side location. The only down side was some building work on the left side, but there was little going on at the site all week. Rooms were clean and plenty of facilities for the four of us, one fridge was replaced as soon as the staff were asked. The side view rooms were on the second floor and gave a good view of the resort and beach to that side, pleasant to sit on the balcony and have a glass or two in the evening before dinner. Food at breakfast and dinner was good, plentiful and varied on most days, some repetition but still plenty of choice as one of our party was vegetarian. Overall the hotel rating is about right and we would recommend it to all. Ignore any reports of poor staff feedback, they were excellent.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor to the left, views were good but I think better views are on the beach e...

Returned home this week. The holiday was enjoyable and i must admit we spent most of it within the hotel which we don't do normally. We was only here for a week unfortunately (think ten days would have been better) due to the week going so fast.
Food: Breakfast and lunch were both served in the lower restaurant where you could also dine outside. Evening meal was served in the restaurant above but men be aware that no shorts or 3/4 trouser or flip flops/sandals can be worn. Think this is a little unfair seen as woman can wear the shortest of shorts and flip flops!! I feel men should be allowed to wear shorts (not beach) and especially 3/4 trousers with sandals. The food was of a good standard with lots of choice, the meat was so tender and we had no complaints about presentation. People who stay the food is repetitive must be the ones trying all the food on one plate at each meal, yes if you do this it will become repetitive. If you choose pasta one day and a roast dinner the next there is plenty of choice to see you through the week. Cannot really comment on the sweets because we don't tend to eat them apart from the fresh fruit which was nice. We also had our 8 month old granddaughter with us and staff were always more than happy to warm her food and bottles for us, highchairs were very clean and safe.
Staff: We found the majority of the staff really friendly and helpful, no complaints really.
Bars: Nice bar areas and always lots of staff on so no long waits; shame the beach or pool bar wasn't open of an evening; people like to sit outside and make the most of the weather.
Room: Our room was 230, side sea view, flat screen T.V, laminate floor, comfortable beds and pillows, clean, kettle with tea/coffee/sugar/milk provided, nice balcony and the one thing i noticed was that we had no noise from anyone. Usually we here kids running around early in a morning or high heel shoes clomping around ect... but it was so quite. Also black out curtains which again made sure you had a good night's sleep. Take an alarm clock or you might end up missing breakfast! Good to have the mini fridge and air con which wasn't too noisy.
All inclusive: Already spoke positively about the food (see above). Drinks: The one complaint i would say would be that the drinks were flat at most of the bars spoiling your drinks for the whole of the holiday. I would suggest buying your own coke and using the fridge in your room to keep it chilled. Cocktails were good especially the Brandy Alexander which i would recommend and the Harvey Wallbanger. There are choc ices which are also included in the A.I at the beach bar. Bottled water is not included in A.I but you can get water served by the glass. Buy water from the shop and not the hotel because it's a lot cheaper.
Beach: lovely beach but the sunbeds are payable and not included in A.I which work out about 7.5 euro's per day for two beds and a parasol. The walk along the see front is a nice one and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs - looks like some moneys gone into this recently.
Resort: lots of bars, not expensive, was paying 2 to 21/2 euro's for cocktails until 10pm at night, and 2 1/2 to 3 euro's for a pint or a can of Boddingtons which we didn't feel was overpriced. Lots of tribute acts on and some of a really good standard, really liked the Michael Jackson one.
Entertainment: cannot really comment because we went out every evening after dinner but we did see and talk to entertainers in the day and they came across as really nice guys and even came to say goodbye to us on the day we left.
My only real complaint was about the locals using the hotel facilities; this was really noticeable at the weekend. Until this point there had been no problems getting a sun bed, there were always plenty but come the weekend the locals came and spent the whole day at the hotel, they would bring their own drinks and food so the hotel was not gaining anything from it but on the one day we had to pay for a bed on the beach which i felt was out of order. I'm sure the hotel should be policing this somehow; i must say i've got nothing against the locals they were all friendly but this is not the point. Sorry to end on a bad point but other than that we had a fantastic time and beautiful wedding which i cannot go on to talk about; hopefully the bride and groom will fill you in but thanks Dan and Rach for letting us enjoy your celebrations with you and your lovely families.

Room Tip: The full sea room view would be the best but at a supplement. The side sea views- one side looking...

Checked in for two nights as our main hotel was not ready, still being built. I was pleasantly surprised by Constantinos the Great as I'd seen it from other hotels but never stayed. Wish we had more time here but maybe next year ! Great hotel loads of facilities and nice staff.

stayed here 13th may to 24th may2012.This hotel looks stunning however the rooms are in need of urgent updating, wallpaper torn, wardrobe doors coming off runners, laminate flooring loose
Reception staff and cleaner trying to find us a kettle after 5 were all broken they were very embarressed but got there eventually. Not what you expect for a 5 star hotel.Staff very friendly and all public areas very clean. food excellent, restaurants beautiful.could not understand why you had to pay for the fridge. Having stayed last year in the Vrissiana which is a 4 star and in my opinion much better than this hotel, more modern.
