My family and I stayed in Protaras in August 13 and tried many of the various restaurants in the area, our favourite (by some way) was Parko.
Eating outside is always pleasurable when the weather is good, but the fact that the restaurant was a little 'off the road' was more than helpful as some of the other restaurants were right by the pavement (people staring into my plate when eating is always a little off-putting).
We were seater quickly and efficiently by smart and well trained staff. Drinks were offered promptly and you were able to 'settle' in a good atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly but not too familiar (the kids liked him after he made comments about how smart they looked).
We ordered and were asked a couple of times if we wanted our glasses refreshed. The entree arrived promptly and immediately afterward we were asked if we wanted to wait (a bit longer) for our mains were for arrive.
The food arrived hot and looked great - it was clearly fresh and was very tasty.
The kids had dessert and we were offered coffee / brandy.
If I am honest, I expected a sizeable bill (due to location, decor, food and quality of the wine), but was taken aback on how well priced it was (about €50 for a family of four).
Needless to say we ate there a couple more times, including our last meal.
I don't normally complete reviews for restaurants, but I'm happy to make an exception in this case.
