This small church on the hill above Protaras is worth the climb (you can drive round the far side and save legs a bit if you need to). I must admit that a surfeit of icons sets in after a while, but it's nicely kept, and the view of the bay itself is stunning. I'm not sure about the tree with good luck ribbons attached.

We married in St Elias Gardens (below church) on 5th July. Climed the steps to see the church....it's stunning up there. Worth the climb x

It's a small church on a mountain where you can see all the town of Protaras. Great place for pictures.

Beautiful place, lovely views from the church on the hill. The tree of rememborance is very touching and sad.

If you can make the steps lovely views over Protaros, well worth a visit, only small church but a must to see
