We have just got back from Cyprus. We went there for a wedding at the Grecian Park Hotel and decided to stay there ourselves at end of May 2013. The hotel itself is fabulous, but we didn't think our room was up to 5 star standard, we stayed in room 326 with a side sea view and the drawers were sticky in the chest of drawers. This was only a minor complaint on an otherwise excellent hotel. We didn't think it was worth mentioning at the time, but did leave a comment on the form requesting any comments on the furniture. The breakfast is fantastic, you could even have champagne every morning.

The wedding was beautiful in a gorgeous setting. We ate on the terrace, but by the evening there was breeze, so we were glad to be staying there so I could go up to our room and get a cardigan, other guests weren't so fortunate.

There were always sun beds available and a pool attendant to help you put up the umberalla, they even have a machine which blows up lilos and other inflateables. You receive cards with you door card to exchange for towels, so no need to take your own. There was a aqua aerobics class, which I think is twice a week and a couple also came another day for you to try out scuba diving in the pool.

The bus stops right outside the hotel and it is a standard one euro before 11pm and 2 euoros after that, but be warned they run about every 20 minutes and were very full with standing room only every night. The much better option was to take the free hotel shuttle bus to it's sister hotel, Grecian Bay in Ayai Napa, you can then walk into Ayai Napa from there. It would be lovely if the hotel also ran a shuttle bus to Protarus which is where we preferred to go in the evening. A taxi to Protarus was 9 euros, but if they come to you at the bus stop they offered a ride there for 6 euros.

I would definitely stay at the hotel again and would recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: As with any hotel a sea view is better.

We had our wedding at The Grecian Park hotel and it was truly amazing. A special thanks must go to Angelos who is extremely professional and is a true perfectionist with every detail covered. I am a bit of a stressy bride and I want to say to all other brides please do not worry as every detail is covered. The food at the hotel is fantastic with huge portion sizes. Every member of staff are lovely and extremely helpful. The florist and cake maker for the weddings are absolutely fantastic- I had organised a cake in the design of my Jimmy Choo shoe box and shoe and considering this was all designed from a photo that I emailed across far outlived all of my expectations. I cannot put into words what a fantastic time both me, my husband and our family and friends have all had when staying here. I cannot wait to return here again in the future.

Spent a night here, visiting friends who were booked in for a week in the hotel. It's a perfect place for a week of sun and is directly above the best beach on the island, Konnos. It's a little isolated but for a week on the beach and proximity to explore Cape Greko it's fine. For nightlife, nothing is walkable, but a short taxi/bus ride gets you to Napa or to Protaras. Head to Pernera for restaurants and beach front bar/cafes, slightly more refined than the neon delights of Protaras itself. Avoid Paralimni at all costs, nothing to see here and do not waste your money on the aquarium, it's terrible.
The Hotel itself is excellent. Service great and the rooms bright, refurbed and well appointed, tea and coffee facilities in the room, always a big plus for me. Big pool, decent gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, table tennis. Spa facilities available, although treatments slightly expensive. The walk to the beach is like a mini nature trail and the crystal clear waters of Konnos perfect for snorkelling, with watersports available at Mike's. Poolside bar and also a snug, bedouin style bar at the top of the cliff.
For a large hotel, they manage to achieve a boutique style feel. It's perfect for couples, very stylish and seems set up for lots of on site weddings. for families with children I would suggest there may be more appropriate hotels on the island.

Possibly the best hotel breakfast i've ever eaten, enormous and interesting selection, who needs lunch?

We have just returned from a stay at the Grecian Park Hotel. We chose this hotel for our wedding as we wanted a private setting and good location. We are so glad that we did chose this hotel!! If you are thinking of getting married abroad in Cyprus this hotel is by far the most private and its location perfect. A number of our guests had seen other weddings taking place in some of the beach location hotels along the main strip in Protaras and told us how they were no where near as private and had far more weddings taking place daily. The hotel itelf is situated on a cliff top over looking the med and konnos bay. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy and maid service was 100%. The pool areas are clean and tidy and staff cannot do enough to make your stay at the hotel perfect. The food at the hotel was all really lovely, and we went down to the cliff bar most nights for a cocktail, again the views from the cliff bar are outstanding. Our wedding day itself was also perfectly organised, Angelos Agathangelou the in house wedding coordinator was really helpful! The BBQ reception was superb and all our guests commented on the hotel itself, location and wedding. We hope to go back in the future for our anniversary and would 100% recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: Definitely get a pool view/sea view room.
