We booked 3 days before traveling and while it wasn't the cheapest deal, having had a fab week I was really pleased with the deal we had. On arrival we were allocated a garden bungalow which as detailed below was very private, spacious for the two of us and was kept fabulously clean. The food in the hotel was superb ( I would defy even the pickiest eater not to find something they liked) and while we would normally venture to a local restaurant even if we have gone AI we didn't feel the need this time. We did, however, venture out to some of the local bars on the occasions when we wanted a change of scene and to get away from the hotel entertainment. That's not to say the entertainment was not good, it's just that it is not really our scene. From what I saw the Thomas Cook team were, however, very good with the kids and there was the usual mix of pool games, bingo and quizzes as well as night time shows and the obligatory Karaoke! With this being one thing we did actually stay for and with my actually having taken part, I am still waiting for my call from Simon Cowell!
I was impressed with the fact that there was a dress code at night in the main restaurant as it helped create a pleasant dining atmosphere, but I wasn't impressed with the fact that many diners stacked their plates at the buffet and then left half of it. remember people it's a buffet, you can always go back for seconds! My only small beef about the service at the hotel was the fact there was only a certain amount of the bar available to be served at, so it meant queues which even during the quieter time we were there was frustrating. I hate to think what it would be like in the height of the season when the hotel was full.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week here, helped as always by the fabulous weather, the quietness of the resort and the area and the excellent staff. We again met some great people who helped make the week and would have no hesitation in recommending this resort to others.

Room Tip: ask for a garden bungalow, they are at the far edge of the resort and are very private

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from our holiday at the apartments and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went all inclusive and would definitely recommend doing it as the drinks seemed expensive. 6 euros for a beer and a cup of tea my boyfriend overheard. The food was lovely and we always had full stomachs. There are plenty of bars around within walking distance and if you want it more lively, protaras is about 20 minutes walk or you can hop on a bus. A lot of places were starting to close down for the winter when we were there so I would be reluctant to go much later in the year. All in all, we loved it and would return. I don't understand how anybody couldn't like it. There are a few parts to the hotel, being the hotel, apartments and some bungalow style apartments. We stayed in the apartments which had a bedroom, bathroom and living area.

We stayed here for a weeks All Inclusive in September. We weren't expecting much as it was really quite cheap but we were pleasantly suprised. First of all the location is ideal, shop five minutes down the road along with a few places to eat and drink. The beach was about a 10 minute walk and was lovely and the sun loungers weren't too expensive. Its about a 20-30 minute walk into Protaras but you can walk along the lovely wooden promenade past Protaras and Fig Tree Bay so it's not too much of a hardship. We stayed in the apartments next to the hotel but were able to use all the hotel facilities. The food was good and well presented , just a little repetitive but definite value for money. The drinks on the other hand were not good! The soft drinks and beer were flat and we often went out in the evening to get a decent drink so if you do like your alcohol this may not be the place for you. The rooms were cleaned daily, were of a reasonable standard and most of the reception staff were english. The pool was lovely and the sun loungers were comfortable it was just a shame you couldn't sunbathe in peace due to aqua aerobics and pool volleyball etc. Having given the negative points overall for the price we paid we were very happy with what we got and would not let it put us off returning to the Tsokkos again.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view!
