Stopped by here many times and reccommended to many. Liz, Mandy and the gang are freindly and we feel we know them on a personal basis. The ''Choke a donkey'' sized breakfast, is the the best I've come accross ever and would set you up for the rest of the day if you can manage to eat it all. with a friendly atmosphere, handy parking and less than 100 yards to the Larne Cainryan ferry crossing, I will continue to reccomend. FIRST CLASS.

If you want to see Belfast and the Giant Causeway and then head to Scotland--this is the best place to stay. It is a one block walk from the train station and the ferry terminal. We took the train the Belfast and then drove the next day to the giant causeway. The ferry ride to Troon, Scotland is just 2 hours. Liz is a wonderful owner (thanks for the extra tea)!!! You will not find a better B&B in Ireland...

Liz (owner) was so welcoming and always had a great smile to set off the day. Parking was so convenient. Room was clean and comfortable for 3 of us in the family suite. Breakfast was hot and we certainly had plenty to eat. We were visiting friends and family in the area and it was nice to come back to a warm room. Upon leaving Liz came out with us to the car to give us all a big hug and wish us well on our way.

We were looking to stop for 1 night in the Larne area before driving up the Causeway Coastal Route having earlier arrived in Belfast. We chose this B&B based on the other reviews here and were not disappointed. On arrival we were able to park right outside the B&B and were given a very warm welcome by Liz. We were shown to our room and which was very comfortable and clean. Full tea and coffee facilities were available and 2 bottles of water were provided which was a nice touch. Room also had Sky TV although we didn't watch it. The only small gripe was that when my wife plugged her hair dryer in to the only socket we could find there was no mirror handy - there was one inside the wardrobe door but it was a bit awkward to use. Other than that we couldn't fault the room. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice - the Ulster Fry was great! Location wise, the B&B is just opposite the ferry port so handy if you're arriving into/leaving from Larne. As I said it is also just on the south end of the Causeway Coastal Route too which was ideal. Would we return? Yes!

We had a few stumbles during our stay including getting caught in drenching rain and hail right before we arrived. Liz was most helpful in helping us spread out our clothes to dry and getting us settled in. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was wonderful--we were there with our two teenagers and had separate rooms which was very helpful. The bathroom was great, and there were water bottles and cookies in the room waiting for us. We had to get up at 4 a.m. to catch an early ferry, and Liz met us downstairs with an amazing Ulster fry at 5:30 a.m. which was the best food we ate on our whole trip! She shooed us out the door at 6:13 and as she promised we were at the ferry terminal in two minutes, right on time. I can't recommend this place enough--Liz was absolutely wonderful and everything about this place was top-notch!

Stayed there for one night and couldn't believe how helpful the people running the place were. In a area of Ireland where B&Bs are few and far between it was great to get a comfortable, quiet and spotless room when I arrived cold call at the door. The lady who met me gave me so much useful info on Larne and the surroundings that she made the visit very memorable. I have no hesitation in recommending the Harbour Inn and the missing star is due to the only omission - the missing chair in the bedroom, otherwise though it was all perfect.

Room Tip: Quieter at the back of the house.
