This is a very well presented contemporay restaurant serving traditional mountain food with a modern twist. Lovely setting and attentive staff.

“Just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014 via mobile

Had a lot to live up to as successor of cookie. Menu was average mainly typical local cuisine. Service was ok but a wait for menus and not much of a welcome. Food was ok, but other local restaurants are better.

The successor of the very succesfull, Australian, Cookie restaurant.
Quite disappoiting menu. No fish, no chicken. Above all steaks, hamburger and an interesting dish meat balls. Mostly with French fries and not very good green salad. Hamburger and meat balls were nicely presented and of quite good. Desserts also very limited choice.
However a very extensive wine list with even very exclusive and quite expensive wines like Sassicaia!
Acceptable dining but such little choice does not invite us to come back.

“Petite Table”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

We had dinner in this well known restaurant and today you will enjoy a typical Belgian table with items that you will find only in Belgium ie dame blanche=Coupe denmark and a few others. Out of a few Belgian items the rest of the menu is classic ie fillet, contrefillet ..very well cooked(at your taste) and served.. Service is very good with perhaps a soft tone : when ordering a bottle of mineral water, I like to see it opened in front of me and not in the back office..Immediately I can imagine all kind of stories about the origin of this mineral water. Also we are not impressed by the french fries. I would expect from a Belgian restaurant that the fries would be unforgettable taste generating the immediate need to come back and taste again....Wine selection is good and perhaps more local wines would be appreciated. We have wonderful wines to discover.

“Vive la Petite Table”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2013

unfortunately, Cookie closed down and we miss it. Fortunately, La Petite Table arrived. Very warm welcome, new card with some interesting dishes (boulettes de Mamy), pasta with truffe blanche, excellent steak. We had an excellent lunch, service was impeccable. I like in particular the fact that La Petite Table does not try to imitate Cookie, but they have kept a card with excellent and original dishes and the service was oustanding. Tip for the owners: please restore the children's play room - our boys loved it - and also try to have more local Swiss wines, especially white ones - on the menu. We will be back (many times).
