Well, it's 2 weeks since we left the fabulous Espana Escape villa and everyone is still talking about the fantastic holiday we had.
It was perfect for us, six couples and a toddler with room to spare. We did some day trips and spent a lot of time by the lovely pool, just relaxing, it was so peaceful.
It was hot but all the bedrooms have A/C, so very comfortable and Su was really helpful leading up to and during the holiday.
It was lovely to dine on the covered verandah in the evening as the sun set, the villa grounds are not overlooked at all. Add the occasional midnight swim and it was a perfect holiday.!

Everyone in our group had a great week at the villa. We were part of a group of 15 plus one three year old. After arriving in Spain most of the group hired cars and then traveled about an hour from Malaga airport to the villa. Some found the villa a little challenging to find even with a Sat Nav (Google Maps is much better) but we wanted a villa that was a little remote and private. It was a great spot for relaxation and tranquility.
The rooms were adequate, mattresses were on the firm side (for us we liked that) and bathrooms also adequate although in our bathroom you could not use the wall socket.
As for the spacious grounds there are a lot of steps so keep that in mind. In our group, we had two individuals in their late 70's and they managed the steps and grounds just fine. The garden and pool we thought were well kept and the garden maintenance team just came on the Friday morning at 9am.
In the main house the kitchen, living room and dining area can be challenging with a large group as they are not really large rooms but we only really found it challenging one day when the weather was less than perfect and many of us did not eat outside.
A few points of concern for us was our non-main, house room. It was nice to be near the pool but keep in mind that the lower rooms have skylights (ours leaked a little) and are directly below where the table tennis table is so if someone is playing you will hear it. Our bathroom tap also had a constant leak. The biggest problem was certainly with ants on the wall and bed which we had to use treatment on during the week. The house kitchen also had ant problems so we would suggest that the house and rooms receive regular pest control services.

This was my second visit to the villa in Torre del Mar. We loved it so much the first time we booked it again as soon as we left! Torre del Mar is a lovely little beach town. The villa sits up on a hill overlooking the immediate farming community and sea. The property itself is stunning and makes you drop your jaw when you arrive. It's lovely to have all en suite rooms so not to have to squabble over bathrooms. We loved making use of the gorgeous pool and pool room. We also played table tennis and ate our dinners outside every single night. The gazebo/covered patio area was perfect late night game playing as well.
Su who owns the property is really lovely and helpful. She provides a book with suggestions for outings and restaurants (which we made use of!). I especially appreciated the information for healthcare and medicines as my daughter and I fell ill and needed treatment. Alfonso the chemist was brilliant! Last year we went to the Crocodile park and loved that. This year we went to Aqualand (huge water park) and the Selwo Marina Delfinarium.
Torre del Mar and Malaga is a great place for families and trips with friends. I highly recommend Espana Escape!

This is the second time I've come with a group of friends to use this lovely villa. The owner Su is really accommodating, helpful and friendly. The Villa is outstanding and great value for money. It was the perfect size for us, 10 adults and 4 young children and the facilities suited us well. We made great use of the heated pool, table tennis and BBQ. Going in late May the weather was outstanding. We hired cars and drove to local beaches and restaurants and had trips out recommended by Su. Thank you Su for accommodating such an incredible holiday!
We were lucky enough to have site of the villa before making our booking as we had been staying nearby the previous yea,r and we were so glad we choose this place for my 60th birthday celebration. Su was helpful through the whole process from showing us around the year before, to recommending outside caterers and organising a yoga teacher.
All my family were delighted with their rooms with private en-suites, the stunning views across to the sea and the villa's pools and grounds. We were a large group, but there were plenty of places to relax without being on top of each other.
Cars were necessary, but easy to pick up at Malaga airport and there is a wide range of places for days out. Paying the additional charge to have the pool heated was well worth it.

This villa lived up to our expectations. It is well managed. In October it is advisable to have the pool heated, which we did, There are plenty of fridges/freezers which was important to accommodate the liquid refreshments? The Mercadona (a sort of Tesco )is close by.It was our favourate shop ?
The beach is OK but the pool is better. The restaurants are OK. But home cooking is better.
Malaga is worth a visit. A typical Moorish town. You do need a car. When you visit the shops look for the motorway signs to Malaga. This is the best way to Malaga and the airport..
The whole of the family enjoy themselves. The heated and lit pool made it a great place to have fun in the evenings, but not too much noise!
