It is not one of those spots that you really need to visit. It is just one more monument. There are other more interesting attractions. the vendors are a major turn-off.

A Monument to the history of this area, located adjacent to the Lapu Lapu statue. Worth the visit. Plenty of locals and tourists passing through

This place has a shrine of lapu lapu and magellan's marker. This shrine remembers the first war between spanish and native filipinos. There are lots of shops, food stalls. Umbrellas are available since its so hot.

What an amazing place at night, with all the trees light up, the Mactan Shrine and Lapu-Lapu Shrine, so magnificent. Its a must see if you can.

You will see here a mural showing the Battle of Mactan fought between LapuLapu and the native Filipinos, and Ferdinand Magellan and the Spaniards from his fleet. Nearby is a nice commemorative Marker of Magellan's landing in Mactan. This event is a significant part of Philippine history. Hundreds of tourists visit this place. I do hope the Philippine government will improve the facilities around this Shrine and build more clean washrooms around the area.
