Sossus Dune Lodge is on of the NWR lodges - as with all the state owned lodges, service and food do not quite measure up to the price, but Sossus is still on the high end. The chalets are beautiful and big, all have terraces with a view. Take a torch, though, the boardwalk to the restaurant is long and not well lit. There is a small pool and a nice lounge. And, best of all, since the lodge is in the park, you can leave early enough to see the sunrise within the park (no gate times!).
