“Great hotel, great staff, great experience”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

I found this place on a hotel site and it was a great find. We arrived in Mykonos in the afternoon on a flight from Athens. We got good directions from the lady at Hertz and made our way over to the Ormos Beach area of the island. As soon as we drove in, we were greeted by Jeanette, the owner/manager of the hotel and her staff. Check in was crisp and professional; and then we were assisted to our room by the staff.

The hotel was totally to our liking. It was clean and everything worked. It had a little kitchen which allowed us to self cater. It was out of the way and was therefore quiet, which is a dream in Mykonos. The pool was pristine. And the staff was ever present and helpful.

Though we had a car, there is bus service close by and you can even walk to the main town, and to the beach, as we did.

I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mykonos.

We stayed at the Corfos on the tail end of our Greece trip. We had the hotel pick us up upon arrival by boat - well worth it!

The place is gorgeous, tucked away and private but close to Ornos Beach which has fabulous dining options - mainly Kuzina!

The hotel arranged for us to be picked up by the local ATV company and we had ATVs the entire time we were in Mykonos, which is a great way to get around town.

There is also a little bakery near the hotel so if you want some treats for the beach or just while you're walking around Mykonos, this is a nice option.

The rooms were stylish, roomy, clean and relaxing. If you don't mind the cats, they are quite friendly and we let them in our room.

Also, the pool was kept clean and we used it during our stay.

Room Tip: Don't upgrade your room, odds are they'll upgrade the rooms for you.

We booked the Hotel for our fifth trip to Mykonos. The Hotel is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. They sent a driver to pick us up from the airport and deliver us to the airport for 15 Euros each way. It was well worth the money! They also had a motorbike delivered to the hotel for us for 24 euros per day.
The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! There was fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, eggs, pastries, desserts, juice and coffee. More than adequate as we are two men who eat a lot for breakfast!
ALL STAFF WERE TERRIFIC! From our driver to reception (Jeanette), The Owner Nicolas and his wife (she made delicious, homemade crepe and desserts for the buffet) were always there and always smiling. They always greeted us with a smile and kalimera every morning at breakfast! They were always available, friendly and accommodating. They would deliver coffee and beer to the room at anytime. The pool is beautiful and the proximity to Ornos beach, shops and restaurants is a five minute walk. It was a five minute motorbike ride to Mykonos Town.
I cannot say enough positive things about Corfos Hotel! Book your room at Corfos and prepare to be pampered your entire stay!

Room Tip: poolside rooms are great

We booked to stay here last minute as a break from our backpacking trip. On request they picked us up from the port for 15 euros. It was well worth the extra money, as they upgraded us from the standard room. we had a little kitchenette in our room - but it has no cutlery which we thought was a bit strange. Breakfast was included and was yummy - I wish Greek yogurt was included though (we are in Greece afterall) and fresh fruit. The hotel is in 5-10min walking distance to the main sunbathing/swimming beach - which we hired a quad bike from. As we went in early September / mid season we were able to hire a quad for 20 euros a day - well worth it.

Me and my friends recently went to Mykonos for a 3day stop over trip before we head to Santorini. When we arrived at the hotel, we were so impressed with the over-all look of the hotel. All of us are working in the design profession so we know what is aesthetically pleasing. The hotel's motiff colors are well coordinated (white, grey and turquoise). It's clean, well landscaped, organized and the swimming pool is just amazing. I could not stop myself from taking tons of pictures right away. The room for 3 is suitable, size wise and layout. The hotel sits on a perfect location just 5 minutes walk to Ornos Beach (btw is a fantastic beach setting, Kuzina resto is must try). There is a bus stop just walking distance from the hotel where you can catch a bus every 30minutes to go to the town. Its surrounding is peaceful and not too crowded. Again AMAZING!!!

Very beautiful hotel, lovely outdoor areas and very nicely decorated rooms. The owner and his staff (from the driver, to the chef, the reception staff and the cleaner) were all absolutely lovely, efficient, friendly, professional and helpful at all times. The breakfast was one of the best we've had, especially the home made jams and cakes. The location has its good points - it's lovely and quiet, especially compared to other parts of Mykonos, and probably compared to the many hotels that we saw built close to the road. One side of the suite overlooked some paddocks which were unkempt but had old fig trees and sheep in them sometimes so in the afternoon sun were rather nice to look out at. The beaches nearby were ok (not the best in the Med) but one was good for kite surfing when the wind was really strong and the other had lots of bars and restaurants etc. We didn't hire a car but in retrospect it could have been easier as in August with a baby we found it hard to find one of the 30 taxis (so we were told) that there are on the island, especially just after dinner at around 9.30pm. There is also a bus service, even at night but if you manage to find a taxi they are quite cheap. If you don't have kids and feel up to it then hiring a scooter might be the best idea.

I was so impressed with this hotel and it's staff and it's huge rooms and gorgeous pool and delicious breakfasts! Although I couldn't get internet in my room, it was a pleasure to enjoy the hospitality of the staff as I worked away in the common and outdoor seating areas.

It's about a 5 minute walk to Ornos Beach, which is really minimal, and there are enough shops around that I could buy water and fruit and cool them in the fridge in my room. It's a 5 minute taxi drive to the action in the centre of town and costs about 5-8 euros. The bus is also convenient and costs just under 2 euros and drops you close by the hotel.

The rooms are Really big, there is a kitchen area with sink and fridge but not any utensils, but I'm sure the staff would get you what you needed. The tv was fairly small and the picture grainy but really, you're not there to watch tv so it's not a big deal. The beds were super comfortable and the balcony overlooking the pool was a delight. It was safe and clean and felt luxurious...although the shower was a bit small, again, that wasn't a big deal.

The staff, well, let me say that you rarely meet people that are so eager to assist and not overly intrusive. Panos is a lovely young Greek man with a soft spoken courteous and gracious demeanor. Jeanette grew up in the States so understands the needs of those from abroad and yet has been in Greece so long (22 years I believe) that she has the hospitality, warmth and kindness of the Greek. The mixture of the two of them, is magical and they make you feel like part of a family. The owner's wife is a baker and cook and on a daily basis, has a delightful array of pastries and sweets for you to enjoy. I'm still dreaming about the flakely pastry with the ricotta cheese inside or the honey drenched orange...And the owner, he's so on top of it all and was really concerned about me not being able to get internet that he gave me his computer to use and made sure I was able to continue my work while away. Again, this staff met my expectations over and above anywhere else.

I was able to book a scooter from the hotel but the company that they are connected with is quite a ways from the hotel. Although they pick you up and drive you back, there are scooter companies everywhere, and ones in Ornos that are much closer.

You are lucky to stay in this hotel and will surely have a great time. It's a little bit of heaven in Mykonos and I"d recommend this place to anybody.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view.
