I cannot say enough good things about the Yiannaki. Our stay was for 5 nights. From the moment of arrival until we were dropped off at the port, the experience was excellent! Warm, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful pool with tranquil yet upbeat music, delicious food, and the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. The entire property oozed class, but without the feeling of being snobbish. I would highly recommend the Yiannaki to anyone visiting Mykonos.

We were on a tour through Greece so this was one of our stops and we stood Three days here at the Yiannaki Hotel and we loved it. The hotel is beautiul, warm cozy home feeling, staff was great, helped us with everything from taxi service to where to eat and making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I also went through a period where I had severe neck pains and they even drove my partner to get meds for me, which i thought was soo nice of them. There is a blonde German receptionist, whom I loved she was so nice and the nite when we went out till about 7 in the am, cuz thats how they do it there, actually till later, lol, she helped us on where to go. We had a great view of the water, the building is painted in the colors of Greece and its just great, I love greece and I loved Mykonos, so I can't complain about anything, I just wanna go back!!!! There is this bakery just a few blocks from the hotel, its near an intersection on a corner, I forgot the name, but you will def pass it, cuz u'll smell the fresh bread. You must go there, we got bread one day took it to the beach and ate all day and afternoon, it was just the best bread ever lol. We hit a couple of beaches, but we loved Agios Stsosis. Beautiful beach, great location, just amazing, and also Kapari beach, very small but beautiful and remote, which we love love love. We rented a car while we were here and it was easy to drive around, you just gotta do, it isnt bad at all. Although at nite it is sort of scary. But not bad. We also went to Paradise and Super Paradise, but the beaches were crowded and we wanted something a lil more subdued. We never used the pool, but it was beautiful, and we didn't use the beach near the hotel either. And of course, the food, it's Greek food, either you like it or you don't but it is delicious! Go to the Yiannaki and come to Mykonos, you will not be disappointed!

We stayed in the Yiannaki hotel recently on a trip to Athens and Mykonos and had a great experience.
The hotel is in the typical style for the island – whitewashed with blue accents and has only 2-3 floors of rooms, so relatively small and quaint. The scenery directly around the hotel is not idyllic, mostly low brush and stones, but that is basically how the entire island is (at least during the hottest part of August). Fortunately that matters little as the hotel is just up the hill from Ornos Beach (about a 5 minute walk) which we found to be one of the best beaches in the South of the island. Ornos beach is very laid back (unlike the party beaches of Paradise and Super Paradise) and would be perfect for those who wanted a relaxing time on the beach. Ornos beach also boasts a handful of trendy spots to eat and drink which are worth checking out at night. The hotel also has a nice restaurant of its own and a pool, but we spent most of our time either on the beach or in the restaurants in town.

The rooms in the hotel were somewhat small, but we did have a triple room which slept three in relative comfort. The bathrooms were an adequate size, though not as big as one might expect for a triple room. One advantage of the hotel was that it did have a small but adequate fitness center if you are looking to do a bit of exercise while away on your break.

Location wise, the hotel is located within walking distance of Ornos beach and a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute bus ride from Mykonos town. From Ornos beach you can get a ferry each morning to Plati Gialos or Paradise beach if you would like to check out some of the other popular spots along the coast.

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful when it came to restaurant recommendations, setting up taxis etc. We also were picked up and dropped off by the hotel staff at the ferry port (you might want to check if this is included in your rate).

The breakfast at the hotel (which was included in our rate) was a basic buffet which was fine, though given the ‘late night’ culture of Greece, we only made it there one or two times.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a nice, relaxing stay on the island but still have access to all the restaurants and nightlife of Mykonos town.

A friend and I stayed at the Yiannaki for 2 weeks during August (16 - 30th) this year and had a fantastic all round experience.

The family run hotel is conveniently located 300m from Ornos beach, a nice family beach and 3 minutes from town by scooter.

The hotel is professionaly and efficietly run and the staff were very friendly and helpful and eager to assist in any way possible. There is a level of service that you just cannot get in the larger and more pretentious establishments around the island and across the globe. The hotel's manager picked us up and dropped us off at the airport in his own car!

The hotel restaurant was great value - 5-9 euro entrees and 7 -13 euro mains. The chef has a number of sensational signature dishes and the wait staff were very knowledgeable and eager to converse at every opportunity. The rooms, pool area, and lobby were always clean and well presented.

I highly recommend the Yiannaki for singles, couples and families seeking a relaxing location away from the hustle and bustle of the main town.

Our third stay at this wonderful hotel. Standards are always excellent and continue to improve (if possible). A warm and friendly welcome awaits guests and staff cannot do enough to make your holiday both relaxing and special.
A new chef in the restaurant ensured that food was excellent and could cater to all tastes.
Our rooms (2) were excellent - comfortable and well appointed with, of course, balconies, fridges/mini bars, air conditioning and a safe.
Would highly recommend this hotel which is 10 mins walk from the beach with it's own pool and is calm oasis and the most relaxing place to spend a holiday.

I was in Greece with 3 friends. We flew from Berlin to Mykonos in transit to Ios but first we decided to visit Yiannaki Hotel as we had some time to kill in Mykonos before our ferry to Ios. We did this also because we had some problems with the payment for booking.com, where we booked our stay in Yiannaki, and wanted to be sure that everything was sorted with our stay in Mykonos. They even took us to the Port on their bus and we didn't had to pay nothing for that. And this without a confirmed reservation. Wow.

From the first moment they were fantastic and really helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage in the luggage room although they couldn't find our reservation with booking.com. The lady in the recepcion (Stravroula) told us that she would keep calling the guys in booking.com to get everything sorted out.

When we came back from Ios, we didn't have any problem and they were always keen on beign helpfull beign recognition.

As I write this review I already checkout from Yiannaki but they still let us to shower in the gym and leave our luggage in the luggage room.

I've been travelling all arround the world and I still haven't found a friendlier staff than Yiannakis'.

If you're planning to come to Mykonos, stay in Yiannaki Hotel. You won't regret it.

We stayed at the Yiannaki Hotel for five nights and had a fantastic time.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and the whole area including the pool were very clean. The hotel was quiet and relaxing.
We ate at the restaurant every day and it was incredibly deliciouse and not expensive.
We were picked up and dropped at the airport by the owner which made things easy. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel.
A great THANKS to the owner couple and the whole staff ( room mades, bellboy, pool lady and the restaurant staff) for making our stay in Mykonos a great one!

We will definitely come back next year!
