We've been coming to Mykonos and to Malama for many years. It's a wonderful little secret! Relaxing atmosphere, calm music, wifi and just lovely food and drinks. Owners are always present and happy to prepare anything in addition to the extensive menu. It's also a place of locals so a nice break from the touristic buzz. Great for families for breakfast, brunch or evening! Enjoy!!!

“Best Greek salad in Mykonos”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

I went there last Wednesday for lunch with a friend, and we had a Greek salad, and a cold Amstel. It was the best salad I had in Mykonos. They used fresh oregano rather than dried, plentiful amounts of tomatoes, olives, cucumber etc. We found it to be a delightful place and would thoroughly recommend it. We sat outside, the lovely lady who served us brought us homemade cake afterwards at no extra charge. It was very quiet but imagine in the evening it might liven up a bit. All very nice indeed. I'll go there again next year. It was also the cheapest greek salad I had on the island, and the best quality ingredients. My friend who's been going to Mykonos for over 15 years agreed it was the nicest salad he'd had.

“Not worth the hike”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

If you are thinking about coming here, make sure you have a mode of transportation. My mother and I thought this cafe was in ornos beach, so we took the bus to Ornos beach. It is not on the beach. It is about 15-20 minutes hiking uphill from ornos beach. We did this at around 4pm and barely made it. The bus CAN stop there (we found out after the fact) but you'd have to let the bus driver know. The bus drivers in town are not very friendly.

I had the frappe and it was pretty good. The cappuccino my mother had was just average. The owners were very nice though. They knew we had come a long way so gave us some chocolate crepes on the house, though I have to say it was very average.

Perhaps it was because we were exhausted by the hike, but we did not feel that the cafe was worth the hike. It also had no ocean view.

“Desserts are worth stopping for”
Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

We saw reviews on trip advisor and went off to find the cafe for dessert after going to dinner in ornos.
Ordered the chocolate brownie and chocolate souffle, both with ice cream and they were really good!
The cafe has a nice area out the back with cool furniture and a good sunset view.
The owner was so lovely and really helpful, marking other places on a map that are worth visiting or eating at. If we had more time we would definately go back for breakfast or dessert again!

“Why the high rating?”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

No idea why this place is rated so highly! We drove past it at least 20 times whilst in Mykonos and it was always deserted! Tried it once to see what justified its rating and left bemused after an average drink and snack with no atmosphere and no other customers!

it is very strange and also bizarre a tourist on his holidays spending so much energy and intension by looking if a business has customers, and taking photo of it.
Our place is located on the ring road ,and that gives us the chance and the time to treat everyone as a unique, express our hospitality and serve from the deepest of our heart ,values that our customers appreciate. We are sorry that you didn't feel this..Also keep in mind in your next holidays that quality doesn't have to do anything with the quantity .
Finally check at the dictionary and find what "malama" means and you have your answer to your question.
