I prefer to stay in this hotel during my CoxsBazar trips, because many of my relations recommended it and they too stay here most often. I prefer to stay in room 301, 302 because they give you a glimpse of the beach, however, if you're looking for a wide angle view, this hotel is not your type, since another hotel blocks that view. Staff are very cooperative and well trained. I never tried the wi-fi. Clean hotel, with a tiny outdoor swimming pool and a small pool for children on the roof. Near to the shops, ATMs, bus stops (most of them may pick you up from hotel on request), near to beach. Overall, nice stay. However, beware of smoking rooms, ask before booking. Cheaper rooms are very poorly ventilated. Generally, staff are friendly to women and ladies. For ladies on a business trip alone to CoxsBazar, this can be a good choice, if on a budget and not looking forward to other posh hotels around. The rooms I am talking about are about 2200-2500 BDT in off-seasons. Restaurant foods are nice, watch the chillies. However, snacks are poor.

The best hotel in Cox's Bazar. they put me at the penthouse. Do not expect a 5 star, but it is 5 star for Bangladesh standard. The breakfast are excellent if you are not fussy. they have room service. Ask for the Lobster, and you may want to eat it every night.

Room Tip: Be nice to the staff and they will be nice to you

Lonely Planet is right that the rooms look a little tired those days. They are clean and spacious though and comfortable. The beach is 5 minutes away walking, but you cannot really see it from the hotel. As there is a lot of construction of hotel towers closer to the beach soon you will see those skyscrapers only. Another side effect is much noise. As the hotel is located at the main road along the beach there is lots of noisy traffic from 6 am onwards.
Breakfast is okay and the staff friendly, the pool looked very clean. For that price, however, I have seen been better places in South Asia, even at tourist hot spots.

I went to their restaurant 3 times last week and their food was very good. Clean, homely and pleasant restaurant environment and the price of the food is very reasonable. Very tasty and hygienic food. I will recommend anyone looking for good quality food with reasonable price. It is located just in front of Ocean Paradise.

Room Tip: recommend anyone looking for good quality food with reasonable price.

I actually visited this hotel during December 2005. I did not write review of this place back then, since I was not into TripAdvisor back then!! And now TripAdvisor is not allowing dated before Feb2011 !!

Since we travelled by road for a day-trip from Chittagong, this was was a short stayover for a very little while, just to freshen-up. However, the short stay was very memorable in terms of the fabulous food served here. We had some amazing fish for lunch, including a sumptous lobster. The prices were just perfect, not very expensive. One note for foreign travellers, the drinking water in Cox's Bazar tastes funny. Please prefer bottled water, which are closer to the acceptable tastes.

We used only one room so that we could use the bathroom. The same was clean and well equipped. However, this place is a little too far away for the hot-spot beach. There are other properties that are closer to the beach. Even the view to the sea was obstructed from this place, hence do not expect that you may have a good view of the sea from here.

This is a good place to put up in case you have constrained pockets and have a taste for authentic sea-food.

Happy Travelling to you all :)

Room Tip: Please try to get rooms on the upper floors since this hotel is on the road and you may be disturbed...
