We live in Chard but love going to see the museum, the grandchildren love it and the volunteers are so enthusiastic and knowledgable, you have to go if you are inn Chard. The building is fantastic and the history really interesting

Very unusual artifacts. It looks small but there is a lot on display from so many eras. I particularly liked the artificail limbs that were made in the Chard area.

We liked just about everything. Unfortunately, we did not have time to revisit this time but highly recommend others to visit.

Gives an insight into the Chard of yesterday with those acclaimed by the town in settings about them. Also they stage short term exhibitions that occasionally tie in with what is happening in the UK.

The people of Chard should be very proud that volunteers want people from all over to know about there town. Ok it's not got the bells and whistles of the modern museum like the museum of Somerset in Taunton but its looked after by obviously dedicated volunteers. It's well worth a visit.
