We were staying at Hotel Etna, and ate here 2 of the 3 nights. Food was delicious - the parmigiana mousse blew us away, I could have eaten 10! The menus is great because it's different to the rest of Sicily, which if you are on a travelling holiday, is a good change. It was the first time we had meat, which was cooked and served in a way that made it feel homely. Pasta was delicious too, and the bread was addictive! Very beautiful setting. There isn't really anywhere else decent in Giarre to eat, and we thought we could venture off, but in hindsight, 3 nights at this restaurant would have been wonderful! Reservations not needed.
