“Fabulous and very French campsite. Best holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

The owners were very lovely and helpful as we arrived so late, having gone to wrong place, 4 hrs away! The lodge was very clean and with 4 children from 3-15 easy to maintain. It had a large deck but hedge rows acted as a screen so it was quite private. Brilliant children's park, table tennis and social events for teens and children. Well stocked shop, French breads fresh every morning. Most of the visitors are French so u feel really immersed in their way of life. Long lunches longer dinners and boules in the evening. The only rude mood git who objected to children. Playing boules, was from the uk, if he had been removed it would have been perfect . The bar was very cheap and relaxed, sold lovely pomme frites. The beach is 5 minutes from the site, turquoise water, warm breezes and huge stretches of golden sand. Even when it rained intermittently the first few days you could still ly on the beach as it passed as quickly as it appeared.
My only critic would be solely directed at myself, I wish I could speak French. Oh and when in super u all the cheap own brands (delicious) are on the lowest shelf 3 tins of gorgeous pâté 64 pence. Aurevior
