If there is anything better than perfection then that is how we would describe our vacation! Right from being picked up at the airport after a long day of travel to the very warm welcome from Anna and the staff when we arrived at Secret Bay. We stayed in Zabuco III ...WOW ... we thought the pictures were amazing, it is even better, if that is possible. Anything we needed was just a phone call away. Our kitchen was stocked with fruit and fruit juices which were so fresh. The homemade yogurt and granola was simply awesome ... A must have! The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations, everything from shrimp, lobster, lion fish and the best salads ever with a passion fruit dressing. A phone call to security and they would get a kayak ready for us to take out into the bay. It was a very relaxing vacation and a great place to take time to just reconnect, either sitting by the pool listening to the local radio stations, going for a swim or sitting on the deck watching movies on a rainy day ... Thank you to everyone at Secret Bay!!

My wife and I recently stayed in the Zabuco Villa at Secret Bay for our Honeymoon. I must say that, due to the glowing reviews Secret Bay has received, our expectations were very high going in. We were not disappointed. Anna, our attendant Deslyn, our chef Gemma, our maintenance man/guide/jack-of-all-trades Vincent and all the other Secret Bay staff always went above and beyond to make our week at the resort truly an experience to remember. Secret Bay truly is a Caribbean gem and a one-of-a-kind destination that we will never forget. From the food to the tours (ask for Ryan as your guide...he was easily the best driver/tour guide either of us had ever had) to the ambiance and the natural beauty of the location, and the island as a whole, Secret Bay is a must-visit if you venture to the Nature Island of Dominica!

Secret Bay has the most wonderful location/resort/staff of all time. The team of Bianca, Deslyn, Megan, Seralee took wonderful care of our two families when we visited last June. The experience was so wonderful that we have booked the entire resort in 2014 and are taking back two more families. We travel with our 24 and 21 year olds and they loved the adventure of this location. With diving, hiking, yoga, sup, and just kicking back, nothing beats it. Anna does a great job of setting the days up with fun activities and is a most wonderful host. I cannot say enough about the food, it was outstanding! we asked to have local dishes prepared and they exceeded our expectations.
The Kerth and Prices!! See you soon!

When you arrive in Dominica a driver will be waiting for you, he will get your luggage, give you a cool towel, water bottle and a snack. He will take you on the twisting turning road that leads to Secret Bay. You will be greeted by Anna and other staff members who will take your things to your villa (or bungalow) and you will have a tour of your living quarters. The beauty of the island, the villa, and gracious hospitality will sweep you off your feet... And this is how our journey began, and it continued every day with fantastic meals prepared to our specifications-I have an abundant amount of food allergies that the cook was able to work around. The attendants made sure that the kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit and fruit juices that had surely come right from the grove, everything was so fresh. The homemade yogurt and granola was delicious too. A quick phone call to security (8 on staff at all times) and they would get the a paddle board and kayak ready for us to take out into the bay. Anna even helped us plan a perfect day of excursions. We could not have had a nicer, more relaxing trip, but it is not just the beauty of the land or the architectural design that make Secret Bay a treasure, it is the people. The level of service, more than service, it is a caring and a passion to make sure that the guest is content and fulfilled. Dominica and Secret Bay are like a Caribbean Shangri-La that is beckoning us to come back!

Room tip: The villa offers a private plunge pool. We started every day with a dip after breakfast. And what a view, I did yoga right on the deck looking out across the bay. Fantastic!

The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life. I felt so rejuvenated on my return to reality. The quiet paddling in my kayak from bay to bay, watching and listening to the lapping of the waves and the excellent Rum Punch on the sunset deck, the beach or on my patio. I actually had time to think. A massage in my room and reflexology on the meditation deck contributed to making me feel spoilt and indulged. We all need that from time to time.
The accommodation is stunning and faultless, with all the rooms nestled among the trees affording amazing views and privacy. The staff were so polite, helpful and very dedicated. They could not do enough for you. The little touches were lovely, from the daily fresh juice left in your fridge along with the homemade plantain chips, breadfruit chips, yogurt and granola.
We were a small group and our experience was fabulous but I think a honeymoon at Secret Bay would be magic.
