Centrally located on the south shore between Bridgetown and Oistins. Our luggage arrived at 1 am and the staff accepted it and called us at 6:15 to state it had arrived. Very friendly staff, including the maids, restaurant cooks and bartenders and reception. Has a roomy tub/shower with a clothesline for drying. Sliding doors to a patio (we were on the ground floor) with comfortable patio furnishings. Has a kitchenette with a gas stove/oven and nearly full-size refrigerator and a microwave. We learned the maids even do the dishes! There were enough dishes to eat and cook with. The only disappointment was that the bed was actually two twins, pushed together to make a full. TV stations were sparce with only a handful, one of which was TV Land! Food in restaurant is very reasonably priced. For example the dinner special was $16 Barbados dollars ($8 US) and was like a home-cooked meal. I would recommend this place. There are some with suites as well, such as a small living room. The front apartment on the third floor might even have an ocean view. We weren't certain.

I stayed at Worthing Court, and will always do when i`m in Barbados. The reception i had on my arrival (by Tania) was refreshing and welcoming. I checked in and found the room absolutely spotless, checked every facility, and found they all worked well. The rooms were cleaned (properly) daily. Once i left an unwashed plate in the sink only to come back and find them washed, i was shocked, called up the Reception to find out what was going on, and was told it was part of the services the Hotel gives its guests when the room is being cleaned......so i never left any more unwashed plate in the sink again!! The location is excellent with a Supermarket less than 5mins walk. St Lawrence Gap where you have a lot of Clubs is just about 10mins drive and Bridgetown about 15mins at a cost of $1.50(Barbados Dollars) about 70p. The entire staff here are ALWAYS ready to help, and happilly go out of their way to do so.
EXTRAS YOU GET ARE: FREE LOCAL PHONE CALLS, DRIVE-A-MATIC CAR RENTAL IS JUST NEXT DOOR(Branch), so you could just walk in..................they are very good too, and have good staff. Ask for Cephas, Trudie,or Francis.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your kind review on our property's accommodation, facilities and service!
Thank you for also mentioning how efficient Tanya was at Check In and how well the girls cleaned your room! Most of our staff have been working with us for a few years now and we are lucky to have them be apart of our team!

Just to let you know we have upgraded our bathroom facilities over the summer period and we have also added on a Meeting Room facility and opened up a brand new hospitality room so i do hope you would have the opportunity to come back and stay with us at Worthing Court very soon!

Kind Regards,
Alicia Farmer

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our apartment. We had booked a studio room but the lovely receptionist upgraded us to the apartment without any extra charge. The place was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the cupboards had room and a safe, the bathroom was a good size, and the patio and the lounge were a good size too. Not many channels on the TV but we didn't travel all these miles to watch telly, so not a major concern. The A/C worked fine - in short this is a well maintained property that is at a convenient walking distance from the supermarkets, the worthing beach or Accra. Buses to Bridgetown stop just outside the gate on the opposite side of the road while st lawrence gap is just a few mins away. We stayed here for the first 3 days of our island hopping trip and booked the last two days before catching a flight back home. We weren't so lucky on our return trip as the appartments were all booked and were a little disheartened at having to check into a studio room. We had almost forgotten about a kitchennette in the room and were so glad to find a well equipped one when we did.

Once we had just intended to go for a 5 min walk to a nearby shop but got delayed, and by the time we returned we found all the dishes had been done! We never had a maid come knocking to service the room but no matter at whatever odd hour we decided to step out we came back to find the bed made and the rooms serviced. Awesome housekeeping!

This is a great value hotel with lovely staff and an uncrowded little pool with a bar, and I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget. After having stayed at a host of other seaview/ oceanview/ forest view hotels across the Caribbean at twice the rate, give me convenience anyday!

My wife and I, along with our 14 year old son spent a week at the Worthing Court Apartment Hotel. We know Worthing quite well and just wanted a nice place near the beach and withing walking distance of the bars and restos in St Lawrence Gap. We were very pleased with the quality of our accomodations, the cost, and the location. The staff were really friendly and very helpful (Tanya at the front desk and Vonda from housekeeping - great people!!!). The pool and deck area is clean. We only ate at the restaurant once and that was fine.

There are restaurants within easy walking distance, or a short bus or taxi ride, for all budgets and tastes, and a good supermarket round the corner.

The only drawback is that the front section of the hotel is near the main road (highway 7) and the noise of traffic can be a factor if you're a light sleeper. You may want to pack some earplugs if you're sensitive to this.

Great place.
