We stayed here from Dec.28 to Jan.15,2012. This was our first stay here in the 3 times we have been to Barbados. Our room was very clean and the staff was so friendly. If you didn't have something they would do their best to accomodate you.Joyanne at the Hot Pot restaurant, your bajan bread pudding and all your meals are wonderful. The Tuesday night entertainment with Mr. Impact was so much fun and Diego, you are the perfect pourer. We hope to see Alicia, Muriel,Joy ,Diego and Mr. Impact all next year. Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back block are quieter

We stayed at Worthing Court from the 23rd December for 2 weeks, this is a great place with excellent efficient staff. The central location with the bus stop right outside provides easy access, Rockley Beach and St Lawrence Gap are both in easy walking distance with Crystal Waters beach only a few minutes walk away, with a stunning beach, and a friendly turtle who will take fish out of your hand. Oistens is also well worth a trip on a Friday night good food, cheap beer and a really friendly atmosphere. Worthing Court Hotel was a really nice place to stay, the reception staff were very attentive and nothing was any trouble, the room was cleaned everyday and fresh sheets and towels every third. Joy who runs 'The Hotpot' at Worthing Court was very special, a really happy and positive friendly person who makes the best fishcakes & chicken that we have tasted and her curries are out of this world. A must is Tuesday night at The Hotpot with Mr Impact a brilliant night with great food and excellent music, the bar is ran by Diego what more can I say what a guy, always with a smile on his face and great stories to tell. Well worth a visit!!

Room Tip: Book the rear block as they are not disturbed by road noice

Happy with our stay here -booked through British Airways. Breakfast was excellent. Everyone was very helpful particularly Joy in the Bar/Restaurant. The Fish cakes and the curry are great. Walking distance to good beaches. Will definitely consider when back in Barbados.

We went to Barbados for our wedding and stayed at a lavish resort for a few days and then went to Worthing Court after reading reviews here on Trip Advisor!!
We wanted somewhere less expensive but clean and convenient to all the local hotspots....WE FOUND IT!!
Worthing is right near all the conveniences: 2 supermarkets, lots of beaches, restaurants, shopping and tons of other sights. Its endless and you can see all this on foot!
It is right on the main road so you can take a number 11 taxi for 2bds to the Gap for nightlife and to other beaches or to Oistins or Bridgetown.
The public transportation in barbados in thorough and you can see alot of the island using it IF you have a lil patience and are not in a rush or not afraid to cram in with lots of strangers during peak hours..
THe staff is very pleasant and helpfull and the rooms are clean and quaint. We used our kitchenette daily for atleast 2 meals. best bet is to get there and then hit the grocery which is literally a few steps thru the parking lot behind the hotel and another at the corner. We made breakfasts and baked up a storm at lunch and dinner. It was awesome.
The pool is small but sufficient for a small group and for a child that can swim. the water begins at like 2/3 feet. No lifeguards and deck is small but clean and with loungechairs
The courtesy lounge was a huge help as we travelled without computers to enjoy peace but still needed to send occassional emails and proof of life!
Restaurant serves good breakfasts during the week, just allow a little time. They open longer on the weekends for more meals and drinks.
Housekeeping is great and our stay was filled with great memories.
All the hot spots are nearby!!
Berts, Champers, Bubbas, TGIF, Lucky Horseshoe, Cafe Sol and many many more spots are within walking distance
Thanks to Trip advisor we trusted to go and we were very pleased

Room Tip: All are about the same, which is good!

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our 7-night stay in Barbados. A friend of mine gave me her UAL mileage for one free night stay at this hotel before we moved to Marriott Courtyard for our other 6 nights. I think if we would have paid for this 1-night stay, the rate would be reasonable. We arrived by taxi to this hotel from the airport and the hotel's building looks exactly as the photo with the pretty peach paint! The female and male in the reception were very friendly and helpful! The tall male whose name I forgot was very courteous and helpful. They do not have an elevator so please be warned that you have to carry your own luggage to your room. We did not bring heavy luggages so it was not a problem for us. In this lovely warm island, all you need are light clothes so you can really trave light but do not forget your swimsuit, beach shoes, sun protection, hat and snorkelling gear! The room had a refrigerator which was so important for us and a kitchenette which we really did not need as we ate out all the time. The room and bathroom were very basic but clean as what I expected. Do not expect a room like at the Marriott, Hilton or Sheraton. After we arrived, we walked to Chefette as recommended by the receptionist which was similar to our KFC and it was located in front of Accra Beach. Then we rode the ZR van to downtown Bridgetown for just $1 US dollar per person. We walked around for an hour then took a ZR van to Oistins to check their fish fry night. Then we took another van back to the hotel. We did this all in the late afternoon and early evening to prove to you that the location is great. When we arrived back to the hotel, we heard the whistling frogs! We thought it was an alarm but every night that we were in Barbados once the sun sets, the sound of these frogs take over the Barbados nights. We anticipated it every night and it will not bother you once you get used to the sound. I took an early walk the next morning on the boardwalk and I also snorkeled in Hastings beach. After we checked out, we hanged out in their hospitality room before heading out to Marriott as the check in time there was not till 3 pm. This was one of their best services for me as I did not use the pool or ate at their restaurant. There was a/c, tv, magazines, and bathroom. We relaxed there for a couple of hours. We did not even have to take a cab to Marriott. We just took the van in front of the hotel and only paid $2 US dollars for my husband and me so we saved some money. If you are on a budget and want to stay in a clean hotel with excellent staff and a great location, I would recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Choose a room on the first floor if you have heavy luggages. Let the receptionist know what you need and like so there are no surprises at the end of your trip.
