Upon arriving at Seafoam Haciendas and walking into apartment 3 Seastar the first thing you see is the amazing view through the large glass doors onto the balcony of the sea beyond. We couldn’t resist going straight down to the beach to jump in the surf. The beach is like a postcard with crystal clear waters, white sand and tropical trees and the sound of the waves can be heard throughout the apartment which really is right on the beach.
We stayed at 3 Seastar as a family of 4 and found the apartment to be well kitted out for young children with a travel cot and balcony guard available. The washing machine and dryer were really useful for a 2 week stay. We spent a lot of our holiday on either Worthing beach, where the apartment is located, or Rockley/ Accra beach which is the next beach along - 5 minutes walk to the right as you look at the building from the road. The first bit of Rockley/ Accra beach that you reach has a curve of rocks to shelter it from the waves making an ideal swimming area for very young children. There are also lots of places to eat and drink on and around Rockley beach and the boardwalk further down the beach. The walk from the apartment to Rockley up a side road that is a short cut away from the main road takes you past Champers restaurant which we ate at to celebrate our anniversary and is definitely worth a visit for an amazing setting, fantastic food and excellent service. Mojos across the road from the apartment is also great for a rum punch and more casual meal out.
The Bajans are very welcoming and friendly: we were warmly greeted by Marcia upon arrival at the apartment and Troy the caretaker for the complex was always bringing us sun loungers to put on the beach and refilling our children’s paddling pool which we used in the communal outside area (this has a bbq and outdoor seating). We had a great stay and will definitely be back!
