What to say...Oktoberfest in Palestine is something you just have to do. The entire village comes out in support of Palestine's only brewery. If you can't make it there in October, at least visit the picturesque village during any other time of the year. The views, the churches, the streets are all beautiful. The brewery hosts tours throughout the year. It is easily accessible from Ramallah and Jerusalem (It is less than a 45-minute drive from Jerusalem).

It was really great to visit taybeh, so happy we did it. And the people of the brewery was interesting to talk to. Not at least great beer to taste.
Hope to be able to come for the october festival next year. If you are in the area in the beginning of October check it out!

A definite 'must' for any visit to the West Bank. Taybeh is probably the tiniest brewery you'll ever see but it has a big story.
Brewers Nadim and David are happy to talk at length about the brewing and what it's like exporting beer under Israeli occupation as well as doing so among a predominantly Muslim population. Of course, you'll get a free tour and some free samples of the nectar itself! Don't forget to look at their selection of merchandise before you leave.
