Nice place for off-shore snorkeling or scuba diving (if you got your own gear) Recommend you to wear water sandals or shoes since their is allot of coral or pebble

This small beach was a disappointment - the guide book descibes it as a "beautiful beach" but we visited about ten different ones in all parts of the island and this was the poorest. The sea was not clear, there were lots of small jellyish and the actual beach was shingle. The only upside was that there was plenty of parking !

This beach had little atmosphere, the restaurant/cafe was overpriced as were the beach loungers and umbrellas. The spanish omelette was an omelette with chips in it. New take on spanish omelette which tasted ok but we were very disappointed. The snorkelling was ok but overall there are much better beaches to visit.

Beautiful beach such a shame nobody could go in the sea due to plague of jellyfish. Wanted to go for a snorkel and a swim and had we have been able to swim or even paddle this would have got four or even five stars. But you can't give it any more than two stars if you can't go in the sea can you?

If you think you can avoid the jellies don't be fooled. They may look small but even the babies give you a painful strike of a sting. I was lucky to get away with a three inch long sting on the back of the legs, others got some nasty stings whilst I was there. Also, if you see one there are bound to be dozens more hidden somewhere. Another tip watch how the locals and other visitors stay out of the water, these people are wise.

Lovely location. Sand not the best and a lot of jellyfish while we were there. The rates for the sunbeds was €3 more per bed than the main beaches in Portinax
