“Perfect relaxing holiday !”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Typlical spanish apartments in a very quiet place. This place is exactly what is says in the brochures, quiet and basic.

Jane who manages the apartments was exceptional always had time to speak look after you. This is the perfect place if you want to unwind during an holiday. If you are lucky enough to stop here you must try the Mountain Lamb, cooked and served by the owner Heidi it is exceptional.
The pool and sun bed are is not massive but is doesn't need to be it's more than adequate. The breakfast, snacks and evening meals that we had was lovely, couldn't fault them.
The bathroom's could do with updating but I am sure many apartments in Ibiza are like this. If you are not looking for the Ritz then there is nothing wrong with them.

Yes there is not air conditioning, sky tv, entertainment, magicians, singers, bar around the pool, childrens activities, all inclusive free drinks and ice cream but if you want this find somewhere else !

Room Tip: D1 was excellent, 5 off us stopped in this 6 bed appartment with plenty of space

We have just returned fom a week of fun in the sun before winter takes hold of us all here in Britain, and had a great time! We stayed in D block - 2 bed apartments - good size, a bit noisy and lacks a view. These apartments are basic, clean and has a lovely pool area. It is a little dated in terms of decor and could do with a facelift - however it is very retro in it's decor - thinkcirca 1970's, and it is clean. There is only basic furniture and cooking equipment - so bring your own corkscrew & hairdryer, and we did have ask for a replacement toilet roll as these did appear to be a little rationed - and we were not ill!! The towels were changed regularly and the beds were comfortable, and safes are in the bedroom. The bathroom was mismatched in fittings and the plumbing needs updating as there is a limit to the amount of hot water available - we had a 4 - 6 bed apartment for two of us, and we could not have our usual length of shower - it's not very strong either, in hot water - not sure how 6 people would cope with this? There was no AC in our apartment, fan was provided free of charge. The communal area/ bar is very dark and appears like a mexican homestead, so it's good if the sun is out and you can eat outside - breakfast was good and reasonably proced, did not eat there at night - lots did and were repeat visitors from UK so not just us thought these were a good place to stay. there are a small number of great little bars/ restaurants and it's lively without too much " Benidorm!" the beaches are beautiful & nearby so it's well placed. I'd recommend staying here to couples or families with young children who want a quiet time with fun & sun - it's not a clubbers paradise!

Room Tip: A or B block apartments have better views over the pool & you can harvest your own grapes with p...

All At the Granada Apartments .
Why do you continue to let out apartment C1 !!!
The hotel and Pool is brilliant .Location and everything about yourhotel is fab for a family holiday .
We had a great time in 2009 .
But you continue to let out this room which continually gives you bad review .
Portinax and your apartments are a great place to stay .

Closed down this room .& Make the negative review go away .........Ian

Just got back from Granada appts Ibiza very disappointed in two weeks there the room was only cleaned once we had the infamous room c1 which resembled a dungeon the only place ive everbeen where you're expected to empty your own bins as for the "friendly staff " Jane hardly spoke and the Spanish owners were very rude, the pool was very dirty, full of hair and very chlorinated. One of our party had to be moved due to an infestation of silver fish. When we arrived the fridge, toilet, bedding and the bathrooms weren't clean. We had 5 rooms between 13 of us and the cleaning was non-existing. We were talking to other guests that had been there previously and were very disappointed and said that this was the worst year that they have had at the Granada apartments. In my view it needs a total upgrade including airconditing.

Room Tip: Stay anywhere else other than Granada apartment's

Just returned from 7 nights stay, the apartments are your traditional Spanish holiday apartments, 5 min walk to the main beach which is lovely and clean, pay attention to the life guard station flags here for jelly fish, a couple of people got stung whilst we were there. This is a fairly quiet undeveloped resort, lots of apartments and 2 or 3 large hotels. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance of the apartments. The apartments are family orientated and they is a small clean swimming pool and sun lounger area but you still get people rising at dawn just to put their towels down to reserve a sun bed which is a bit mean as there are only about 20. If you intend to stay all the time by the pool and you're there as a couple then this place may not be for you if you're looking for peace and quiet but it is great as a base to go exploring the island, there is a very cheap bus service 3€ to get all the way to Ibiza town but only one or two run per day so get your timings right and be early, be prepared not to queue as no one else seems to. Consider hiring a car as buses don't run on public holidays which seem to pop up unannounced mid week.Special mention to Jane who works at the apartments, so helpful and welcoming. thank you for the welcome pack of essentials so welcome after a tiring flight. Be warned if traveling from Glasgow to Ibiza, the behaviour of 18-30 is pathetic and your flight out will be lively, coming back they are broke and knackered so it's a lot quieter. There's no aircon but a fan is provided. No problems at all with mosquitoes. Apartments clean and safe. Would recommend a trip to Santa Eulalia 40 mins on bus.

Portinatx is an amazing little town, would definitely go back, quite and tranquil. 3 of us stay in apartment B5 it was like being in a hotel room with an en-suite. We had a double bed and a put me up bed that we had to put up and put down everyday otherwise we would not be able to get around the room without clambering over the double bed!!!! It was clean and Jane was very informative, it was nice to be able to get up in the morning and not worry about getting a sunbed, that only lasted 1 week until a tribe arrived and took over!!!!! it was almost like being in San Antonio with music blaring out, only lasted a day until another guest told the culprits to knock it offr!!! I would go back to Portinatx but maybe not back to the Granada Apartments. We took our own fan knowing that there would be no air con in the room, thank goodness as our apartment had no ceiling fan, but provided us with a desk fan that hardly spun!!

Room Tip: Room B5 would be ok for a couple but no more, very small room.

We have just come back from a week in Portinatx, staying in these apts.My main reason for booking this accommodation was how small the complex was, instead of a large hotel. The Granada delivered. It was peaceful, lovely views, spacious apt, host Jane was very informative.Weather lovely, resort, lovely, less than 10 minute walk to the beach and town.felt very chilled after staying here.A good choice for families. We stayed in B2,which overlooked the pool.Although it did get very hot at night,if you kept the shutters closed all day,and then opened them as soon as the sun has gone down and leave them open all night,it was alot cooler.Had one of our best holidays here!!

Room Tip: Any room in A or B block overlook the pool.
