“Excellent food and service.”

Had a very nice dinner at Taste of Speyside. The owner/chef Sandy chatted with us for a while and was quite entertaining - a lovely guy. The food was excellent - especially his pea soup with mint.

“A wonderful meal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2014

A Taste of Speyside came highly recommended, and we weren't disappointed. They service was excellent, the food was tasty and well-prepared, and there was a comprehensive collection of Speyside Whisky to enjoy.

“Tourist trap”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

Sorry to say maby we are spoiled but for us this place is a tourist trap, charges for meals are over charged we think. We order angus steak !!! I think the owner cut the steak in half to served two people. Than he charge us 3 pound each extra of the menu becourse we had meat on top of that 3 pounds each for some pepper sauce. Than the dessert 3 balls of ys cream for my wife and for me a haddock soep. Well i dit not find any haddock. And on top of this the owner really lookss scufffy. Un shaving Dress as a beggar this all for nearly 60 pounds. Ridiculous , sorry bad news we wonder where he get the good reviews. Never again and this place looks like a trucker road cafe we had no choice becourse it was the only one in daft town sorry dufftown

“Repeat visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2014

Another visit to Dufftown, another visit to A Taste of Speyside. This restaurant drew us back by fond memories of 2 years ago, and we were glad that our second visit was as good as the first. Sandy's welcome is as warm as ever, and the food still excellent. Local produce, nicely cooked, good serving staff, and one small error swiftly rectified and not charged for - well done.

“Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2014 via mobile

Small simple restaurant offering great Scottish treats from whiskey, beer and local cuisine.

The menu was small, which isn't a bad thing.
I went there with my family, and we had about everything on the menu, and everybody thought it was excellent.

The host was very fine and welcoming.

Will return again.
