Owner description: Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

Were looking to do a whisky distillery tour while up in Scotland but with having so many to choose from opted for Glenfiddich. Many of the tours you had to pay for but on arrival we were supprised that this tour was free so were not expecting much. The tour lasted an hour and our guide was Shona who was very pleasant and informative. At the end of the tour we were giving an opportunity to try some free samples of the different malts which was a pleasant change of not having to spend any money. There is also nice cafe on site and shop were you can purchase many things and also next to the car park is a lovely place with pinic tables to enjoy a picnic .Thanks Shona

This was one of our favorite distillery tours while we were in Speyside. Our guide was extremely friendly, the tour was interesting (even for someone who doesn't like scotch very much), and at the end they allow you to test three different ages of scotch. The best part: it was all free! Our recommendation would be to try a tour of a smaller distillery first and then come to Glenfiddich. It is a little commercialized but the tour is very well managed and interesting for even small children. And again, it was free!

We went to the Glenfiddich distillery because it was raining and there were force wind gales so wanted to something inside. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely guide who was very informative, you can take photos almost everywhere and your clothes smell of whisky for days (and so did the inside of our car after we left the coats in there!). The tour is free and you can sample various years at the end of the tour free of charge also. We didnt visit any of the other distilleries so I have nothing to compare it too, but the grounds were nice, good shop (albeit a tad pricy). There is a cafe but we didnt try it. Even if you just visit the posh ladies loo it will be worth it !

Relatively small scale, very attracative buildings and friendly guides. The video presentation is a little OTT. The tour is good and the tasting portions well presented and generous.
