Both Maureen and Robert were very welcoming and both added their own touch to pure stay.
To add to our stay were comfy beds and a clean bathroom. Beige able to access the backyard was a plus. Having breakfast n the sun and the afternoon wine added a homely feel.
The hues is in walking distance to the town, try to be there for the Friday markets and don't forget to walk on the local gardens.
We happened to attend an Opera on the local church while we were there, amazing, just good timing.
Enjoy your stay, steeped in history.

I was lucky enough to stay in the Historic Hotel Particulier and what a gem it is for those who love history. This property has been Robert''s family home for generations and both he and his partner Maureen have a long history in hospitality.
The photos and written descriptions are a true reflection of the rooms and amenities - but they cannot begin to describe the wonderful hospitality I experienced,
Walking around the walled town, through the magnificent gardens of Cardinal Richelieu's residence, listening to a concert there, visiting the market in the town square. I lived and breathed history.
